• Developing and Piloting an Augmented and Virtual Reality training program for Workforce partners with
Industry 4.0 centric high technology skills aligned to robotic workforce certifications and needed training
tools for workforce.
• A training and research partnership with Yaskawa America, Whirlpool Corporation, Honda and RAMTEC
will incorporate Industry 4.0 technologies such as collaborative robotics, virtual reality, augmented reality,
advanced programming, multi-media rich cloud based training curriculum and video tutorials.
• $400,000 Funding for this project will provide the delivery system to reach thousands of incumbent
workers and students and exposure to real-world, 21st century automation and robotic systems,
applications and careers In Ohio.
