Oakland City Center

The SWA Group consulted to the Redevelopment

Agency of the City of Oakland for the planning and

design of the public plaza to be the focus of an

office/commercial complex, rebuilding the center of

downtown Oakland. The design incorporates water,

grand stairs, and trees to make a gracious transition

between the below-ground rapid transit station and

the street level.
