(NAPS)—Nobody wants to spendmore time cleaning their kitchen thanthey need to. So what’s the secret to creat-ing a carefree kitchen? Choosing durablekitchen products that are easy to use andnearly maintenance free.

Fortunately, modern materials andingenuity mean many kitchen items andsurfaces are a lot easier to keep in topshape than they used to be. For example:

• Resin-coated stainless steel knivesare now available, making them dishwash-er safe.

• When you get down to it, ceramictiles and flooring do not require specialcleaners or sealants to maintain and cancome in a wide range of looks, from woodto marble.

• Another idea is to get a glass-coatedstainless steel oven—they’re fingerprintfree and easy to keep clean.

• When selecting a faucet, look forfaucets from companies like Blanco, withlong-lasting ceramic disk cartridges thatare easy to replace and work for years tokeep the faucet from leaking.

• As for the kitchen sink, select onethat can resist dropping a pot of boilingwater in it without worrying about chip-ping, scratching, staining or denting.

Made to deal with life’s messy realities,Silgranit II by Blanco offers affordable andstylish options in eight fashion colors. Itfeatures an ultradurable and cleanable sur-face of 80 percent rock-hard granite thatresists scratches, stains and heat. It isresistant to food acids and alkalis, easy tomaintain, colored all the way through andcarries a limited lifetime warranty.

Because it’s so easy to clean and main-tain, you can even reduce your use ofharsh cleaning chemicals that can harmpets, kids and the environment.

Looking for more ways to live healthi-er? Consider implementing these tips intoyour kitchen habits:

1. “Look for cleaners that don’t containchlorine or ammonia,” suggests Sonya

Lunder, MPH, a senior researcher withEnvironmental Working Group, a nonprof-it organization that researches environ-mental issues. “Choose those that say‘petroleum-free,’ ‘biodegradable’ or ‘phos-phate-free’ instead.”

2. Choose the right pan: According tothe American Council for an Energy-Effi-

cient Economy, using a six-inch pan on aneight-inch burner can waste more than 40percent of the burner’s heat. Also, consid-er reducing use of Teflon-coated pans, which can emit chemicals when heated.

3. Be cool, clean your fridge: For maxi-mum efficiency, clean the coils twice ayear and be sure the gaskets are in good

condition and making tight seals.

4. Be bright: Use compact fluorescentor LED lighting. They last longer and useless electricity than standard bulbs.

5. Reduce, reuse, recycle. Considercomposting, too. Blanco of fers theSOLON built-in compost system thatmakes it easy and saves valuable counterspace. Silgranit II sinks include HYGIEN-IC+PLUS™, a patented formula that is ashield against dirt and bacteria.

Independent laboratory tests confirmthat the unique built-in hygiene protectionreduces bacterial growth by an average of98 percent.

(NAPS)—A household item that’s often taken for granted—your dishcloth—canpotentially present a serious threat to your family’s health.

That’s because a used dishcloth can redeposit millions of germs after a single day’suse across the surfaces that a family comes in contact with throughout the day.

A Safer AlternativeFortunately, there is an alternative. That’s the word from Dr. Elizabeth Scott, founder

and co-director of the Simmons Center for Hygiene and Health in Home and Communi-ty Settings at Simmons College in Boston. She suggests using disposable paper towelsinstead.

Said Dr. Scott, “To use a paper towel and then throw it away is a very smart thing todo, especially on any surface in your kitchen where you’ve been preparing food.”

A Clothlike ExperienceOne of the latest developments in paper towels is designed to offer consumers a

clothlike cleaning experience.

Bounty has introduced its DuraTowel, a paper towel designed to replace germy dish-cloths for a cleaner way to clean. Thick and strong even when wet, a single sheet isintended to be durable enough to tackle tough jobs such as cleaning countertops, sinksand even small appliances.

To learn more, visit the website at www.bountytowels.com or follow them on Twitter@bounty. You can also “like” them at www.facebook.com/bounty.

Paper safer than clothfor household cleaning

Using paper towels in place of a household dish-cloth can help to protect a family from germs.

(NAPS)—There’s good news for those who want to get a handle on cleaning theirhome but don’t know where to start.

The experts from the Institute of Home Science have some practical advice and use-ful guidelines to help you get your home in tip-top shape. From the laundry room to thekitchen, here’s how to kick- start your cleaning.

The laundry room: This is the room wherestains are treated, clothes are folded, and wash-ers and dryers take on all sorts of fabrics. It canbe a daunting place, but a little effort goes a longway.

• Organization is key—Make sure to pre-sortyour laundry into designated baskets for lights, darks and whites. When you’re ready, your laun-dry will be too.

• Less is more—Don’t overload the washeror dryer. Clothes will come out cleaner and lesswrinkled when given room to move freely.

• Go easy on the suds—If you have a high-efficiency (HE) washer, use only HEdetergents in the proper amount to help prevent oversudsing and the buildup of odor-causing residue. With a regular washing machine, remember that concentrated deter-gents require using smaller amounts.

• Don’t overdry your clothes— Contrary to popular belief, it’s actually a lack of mois-ture that causes your clothes to shrink.

Next, the kitchen: This room is typically both the busiest and messiest room in ahome. So how do you keep it looking spotless?

• Declutter the countertops—Rather than displaying your small kitchen appliances, store them in easy-access cabinets and take out only when needed. Appliance garageshave become a popular feature in newer homes to create a streamlined kitchen experi-ence.

• Shield your cookware—To make cleanup a breeze after cooking or baking, lineyour cookware with tinfoil before placing in the oven. After dinner, just toss out the foiland wipe down any spilled residue.

• Stop prerinsing the dishes—Remember, most dishwashers are designed to sensethe amount of soil on the dishes and will run the cycle accordingly. Scrape food items off,but there is no need to rinse.

• When in doubt, throw it out—Start clearing the refrigerator by putting contents onthe counter. No idea how long that mustard has been in the fridge? Get rid of it. Use thethree “E” rules as your guidelines—if it’s expired, empty or makes you say “ew,” toss it.

With over 100 years of practice, Whirlpool Corporation knows a thing or two abouthousehold chores; this practical experience led to the creation of the Whirlpool Instituteof Home Science. For more ideas and information, visit the Institute of Home Science onFacebook.

(NAPS)—It doesn’t have to be a chore to have clean, sparkling windows. Here are afew time-saving tips that’ll brighten your home:

Replace your dirty air filter: Manufacturers suggest replacing your heating and cool-ing system’s air filter every one to three months. That’ll help reduce the amount of dustand pollen in your house.

Choose the right window cleaner: Some window cleaners perform better than others. The Good Housekeeping Research Institute recently tested 17 cleaners and reportedthat the JAWS Glass & Hard Surface Cleaner (Jawscleans.com) was the only one toleave the surface completely streak-free. “In fact, unlike other higher-priced windowcleaners, you can use this non-toxic, non-ammonia cleaner in direct sunlight and stillavoid streaks,” said JAWS International CEO Bruce Yacko.

Squeegee, paper towel or microfiber cloth? Squeegees do a great job on large win-dows. Paper towels leave lint on the glass. One option: Microfiber cloths tend to trapmore dirt and aren’t abrasive. They cost less than $1 each and can be washed hundredsof times.

Other time-saving tips:• Vacuum or use a small brush to sweep the dirt and dust from the windowsill, frame

and tracks.• Work from top to bottom.• Mist the window with the cleaner and use your microfiber or lint-free cloth to wipe

horizontally. Be sure to flip the cloth to dry the window. Or use two cloths—one towipe and one to dry.

Cleaning tips for sparkling, streak-free windowsMost expertsrecommendthat youclean yourwindows atleast twice a

year—because let-ting the sun-shine in canmake livingin your housemore enjoy-

able.

(NAPS)—If you’re like an increasing number of Americans at springtime, you’vebegun thinking about better weather and outdoor entertaining. One of the most popu-lar ways to enjoy the season is making sure you have a great outdoor space. For some30 million American homes, this means a deck.

Why A DeckHere are three of the reasons why decks of all types are becoming so popular:

1. A deck adds to the value of your home. According to Remodeling magazine, youcan expect about a 65 percent return on your investment.

2. New materials make decks more durable and easier to maintain.

3. Decks are the ideal good-weather entertainment space. Add an outdoor grill, portable bar or hot tub and you have a party.

An option growing in popularity is the use of composite decking materials instead ofwood. In fact, today’s composite decking manufacturers can simulate the look of manyexotic hardwoods.

Modern composite decking and railing are now as beautiful as real wood, with theadded benefits of durability and low maintenance—unlike wood decks that requirebackbreaking staining every year or two, composites keep their beauty for decades.Plus, composite decking and railing means absolutely no splinters, twisting or warping, and resistance to scratches, mold and stains. Not even any nail or screw heads to catchbare feet.

One composite decking and railing company, Fiberon, makes all its decking inAmerica with sustainable practices. The manufacturing process captures 98.5 percentof waste materials. And 40,000 tons of wood and plastic are kept out of landfills. There’salso a 25-year stain and fade limited warranty on some lines.

Fiberon decking and railing comes in multiple colors and profile options so yourdeck can be completely customized. The Fiberon Deck Design Idea Tool lets you pickthe colors, styles and products for your dream deck and then save the selections orshare them via e-mail with family and friends.

Special PromotionTo help people get started, the company will give away $5,000 in decking products

to one lucky homeowner per month for four months, through July.

A great deckmakes the backyardmore fun

A deck can be a special oasis for your home.

(NAPS)—The United States has some of the world’s best, most drinkable water. Butno matter where a home’s water originates, from a large municipal supply to a privatewell, a whole-house water filtration system can make it better.

With the right whole-house water filtration system, homeowners can access the bestwater possible throughout their home.

About whole-house systemsA good whole-house water filtration system consists of several components. Multiple

filters reduce sediments and other solids (dirt, silt, rust) that can create cloudy, dirtywater. The system can also reduce chlorine taste and odor, and address specific waterissues like acidity, hardness or contaminants. A system’s digital display provides systemstatus, measures water used and, in some cases, can automatically connect with theservice organization to call for service. Finally, a reverse osmosis system in the kitchenoffers even more filtering of drinking water.

A local water expert like your Culligan Man is knowledgeable on local water supplies, and uniquely suited to recommend a whole-house water filtration system that makessense for a homeowner’s needs.

Benefits of a whole-house systemThere are many benefits of a whole-house water filtration system. Some are more

noticeable than others:

• Clear, odorless and better-tasting drinking water is available throughout the homefrom every tap, your refrigerator, even your icemaker.

• Hair color treatments may last longer and look “richer” because chlorine and otheradditives have been reduced.

• Glasses and dishes are free of water spots, and washed clothing is soft and notscratchy, saving money on fabric softeners.

• Treated water lathers better, saving money on soaps and detergents.

• Because you have bottled water quality right at the tap, you can reduce the cost andenvironmental impact from small-pack bottled water.

Other less noticeable, but very important, potential benefits include:

• A longer life for water-heating appliances by reducing sediment and hard waterbuildup inside the units

• Potentially reduced water and energy bills

• The positive environmental impact of reduced water, energy and detergent use. That’s just the beginning. A local water expert like the Culligan Man can provide

more information about all the benefits of a whole-house water filtration system to ahomeowner, assess that homeowner’s specific needs, and recommend a system thatmakes sense.

(NAPS)—A growing number of decorators—and homeowners—are expressing posi-tive opinions about the trend of using neutral colors.

Survey ShowsAccording to the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s annual design trends survey,

gray is currently used in 55 percent of kitchens and 56 percent of bathrooms, creatingchic, sophisticated spaces.

Other popular looks for kitchens include:• white painted cabinetry • glass backsplashes • LED lighting • water-saving faucets• satin-nickel finishes.

In the bath, look for more and more:• ceramic and porcelain tiles• undermounted sinks.

What Homeowners WantIn both, the big idea is an increase in the expression of individuality. As more and

more people are deciding to stick with the home they have, many are also working onways to improve it to please themselves as well as prospective buyers when that timecomes. Kitchen and bath remodels are particularly popular and shades of white, grayand beige are what’s in.

For example, consider the color called Cinder, a striking shade of dark gray with anatural, stonelike appeal and delicate hints of brown that give it an inviting warmth.

This timeless modern hue is reminiscent of dark natural stones such as slate andgoes very well with stainless appliances.

What They Can GetIt’s available in top-quality Silgranit sinks, which are crafted of 80 percent natural

granite, feature the look and feel of natural stone, and resist scratches, stains, chips andheat. Because the color goes all the way through, it won’t fade in direct sunlight and isimpervious to household acids and alkalis. Advanced surface tech nology ensures that itis nonporous, easy to clean and ex tremely hygienic.

These sinks come from the experts at Blanco. Family owned since 1925, the compa-ny has produced more than 40 million sinks and is recognized as a world lead er in quali-ty, innovation and un surpassed service.

(NewsUSA) - Remember the 1999 Disney Channel original movie “Smart House,”where current “Sons of Anarchy” queen Katey Sagal plays the computerized personalityof a highly technical smart home? Sure, Sagal’s cyborg-esque character, Pat, goes over-board and winds up trying to parent the motherless household — but winning a techno-logically advanced house that eases chores and offers topnotch security was nothingshort of out-of-this-world awesome.

Fast-forward 14 years, professional house planner and HGTV design expert JackThomasson designed the first-ever HGTV Smart Home in Jacksonville Beach, Fla. Com-plete with the latest technology, energy-saving features and green living, anyone canenter to win the house at hgtv.com/smart-home during the sweepstakes period of April11 through May 31.

But, in case you aren’t the lucky winner, Thomasson shares his top five tips to go“smart” with your home technology.

1. Find a system that speaks your language. Technology can be intimidating, and if itcan’t be explained within your comfort zone, don’t do it. It’s so frustrating to invest insomething that doesn’t offer a return. When you invest in technology for your home, take care to find the right system.

2. Maximize security options. This can make your life easier and more secure andbring you peace of mind. For example, a front door that you can lock and unlock from asmart phone can free you of giving precious house keys away that can be duplicated atany hardware store. Or, discreet security cameras can alert you when someone is

approaching your home.

3. Enjoy the luxury of remote func-tion. That same technology that bringsyou security can bring you luxury. When you can control your homeremotely, you eliminate everyday wor-ries. If you become distracted whilefilling the bathtub, you’re covered — aSmart Home will shut it off automati-cally at a pre-designated fill level.

4. Embrace “smart” technology. The right tech choices — from energy efficiency to better use of your time — will makeyou more effective. There is no need to walk from room to room turning off lights, because you can adjust lights with an app that controls them inside and outside thehome. Or control the temperature in your home with a smart thermostat that you canadjust from anywhere.

5. Have fun. Technology can and should be fun. As you incorporate technology intoyour home and connect appliances and devices electronically, you’ll marvel at the new-found freedoms you didn’t even realize you’d lost and the functionality you didn’t knowyou were missing. Wireless advancements have made technology more available, moreaffordable and more user-friendly than ever.

5 reasons to go smart in your home

Page 10: Morning Journal - Spring Home Improvement 2013

(NAPS)—A remodeled basement can add comfort and value to a home. In fact, according to Remodeling magazine’s 2013 Cost vs. Value Report, basement re modelsare still one of the top remodeling projects and typically consist of about a third of theentire home’s available space.

When it comes to finishing a basement, whether it’s for a “man cave,” laundry room, playroom or home office, hiding concrete or cinder blocks behind drywall, wood andcarpet is the easy part.

However, building new spaces that won’t encourage mold and mildew or becomedamaged by condensation is much more difficult. That’s because since concrete isporous and in contact with the cool ground, it can become a condensing surface forwater vapor.

As a result, moist drywall and carpet can begin to grow mold and mildew, causingmusty odors and decay; this can even become a health risk for those who live in thehome.

High relative humidity in the basement can also affect the electronics, furniture, woodwork, painted surfaces, and personal belongings that are stored there. To help, here are some tips.

Moisture Control Techniques1. To manage exterior moisture, ensure that the rain gutters are in working order and

the foundation is properly graded to carry water away from the house.

2. To manage interior moisture, fix cracks and faulty seams and add the proper vaporbarriers and insulation.

3. Use proper construction methods and materials to control water, air movementand vapor diffusion.

4. Use an Energy Star–rated dehumidifier to control high humidity levels.

Several organizations, including the Environmental Protection Agency, AmericanLung Association, and American Medical Association, all recommend using dehumidi-fiers to maintain humidity levels of 50 percent or less in the home, like the ones offeredby Santa Fe.

Santa Fe high-capacity dehumidifiers are designed to be energy efficient and operateeffectively in the cooler temperatures of a basement. That can help maintain the struc-tural integrity of your home, inhibit mold growth, and improve the indoor air quality ofyour home by removing odor-causing moisture.

Also, remember that air in the basement is also circulating through the rest of thehome, contributing to poor indoor air quality and causing uncomfortably high humiditylevels. This may lead to costly problems such as mold growth, increased air conditionerloads, and swelling of millwork and cabinetry.

(NAPS)—Today, finding ways to bemore energy efficient and eco friendly isn’tjust good for the environment—it can begood for your home, your family and yourbottom line. Here are hints on how:

• Reduce, reuse, recycle: Take a lookaround—a simple mental checklist ofreusable, recyclable items can make aworld of difference with no more effortthan a weekly drop-off. For example, takeold books and donate them to a school orlibrary. If you buy eggs in cartons, drop theempties off at an elementary school or

after-school center to be used for art projects. If you’re renovating your home or even justplanning a few small home improvementprojects, remember that just about every-thing, from old flooring to doorknobs andlight fixtures, can be repurposed by a charityif not by you.

• Eat and drink your way to a healthier planet: How (and what) you eat can make abig impact on the environment and the community. Farmers’ markets are often burstingwith fresh produce. Supporting one helps preserve the vitality of community agriculture.Buying local means produce is fresher—it hasn’t been shipped from hundreds of milesaway. Using your refrigerator’s water dispense system and a reusable bottle instead ofbottled water can keep up to 300 plastic bottles a year from ending up in landfills.

• Let the housework do the saving for you: New home appliances are far more effi-cient than older models. New washers such as the Energy Star–certified Amana 3.6-cu.-ft., high-efficiency washer use 75 percent less water and 82 percent less energy thanthose manufactured just a decade ago. If you’ve been considering a new washer or dry-er, the good news is it could save you money on your utility bills.

(NewsUSA) - Signs of spring often include flowers sprouting out of the ground, leavesemerging on trees, increased animal activity and a general feeling of renewal. However, one of the more unpleasant signs that spring has sprung is the emergence of termites. As this is the time of year termites come out in search of a new habitat, the National PestManagement Association (NPMA) has declared March 25-29 Termite Awareness Week. This designation serves to warn homeowners about termite dangers and to educatethem about ways to ensure their home isn’t the next feeding ground for these voraciouspests.

“As many homeowners typically take stock of their homes in the spring time and planfor improvement projects, the NPMA has designated this week after the official start ofthe season as the perfect time to inform them about why their homes may be vulnerableto termites and how to protect their most expensive investments,” noted Missy Henrik-sen, vice president of public affairs for NPMA.

Termites are known as “silent destroyers” because of their ability to chew throughwood, flooring and even wallpaper undetected. Swarmers, looking to start a new colony, are typically the first sign of termite season as these winged pests show up inside homesin early spring. It is important that homeowners do not mistake swarmers for flying ants,as the two species look alike to an untrained eye. Discarded wings near windowsills anddoors signal that swarmers have already found their way in.

As termites cause $5 billion in property damage every year, the NPMA offers thesetermite-prevention tips for homeowners:

* Avoid water accumulation near the home’s foundation.* Keep mulch at least 15 inches from the foundation. * Repair leaking faucets, water pipes and AC units.* Replace weather stripping, and repair loose mortar around basement foundation

and windows.* Store firewood at least 20 feet away from the house and 5 inches off the ground.* Routinely inspect the foundation of your home for signs of mud tubes (used by ter-

“ W aterproofing Done Right”

(NAPS)—Any time can be the right time to tackle those household chores you havebeen avoiding. However, there are a number of tasks that demand to be handled oncethe weather turns warm.

To help, Liquid Wrench® has an entire family of products designed specifically fordo-it-yourself projects.

Whether it’s fixing a squeaky door hinge, prepping the lawn or getting the boat readyfor warm weather action, homeowners often turn to spray lubricants or oils to help themget the job done easily and inexpensively. Here are some tips:

• For squeaky door hinges, use a dry lubricant. Unlike a wet or sticky lubricant thatattracts dirt and increases hinge wear, this goes on dry, leaving no mess and maximizingeffectiveness far longer.

• If the garbage disposal has started to make a racket, use the same dry lubricant.Spray it through the sink drain to the bottom of the garbage disposal. Just make surewater hasn’t flowed through the disposal for at least eight hours so the lubricant canattach itself to the inside parts of the disposal.

• In the bathroom, where hot water and steam from showers can rust door and cabi-net hinges, a little silicone spray will prevent that from happening.

• To keep automatic and manual garage doors operating smoothly, you can use athree-pronged approach:

1. Spray lithium grease in the rollers on the inside of the roller cup.

2. Use a dry lubricant in the door tracks to quiet the operation and prevent buildup ofdebris in the tracks.

3. Lubricate the drive chain with a chain lube to keep links and cables operatingsmoothly.

• After a cold, harsh winter, penetrating oil is great for freeing up frozen or stickylinkages on lawn equipment and shop equipment, like presses and clamping fixtures.

• For hedge clippers and other lawn equipment, a drop or two of lubricating oil willhelp get them garden ready in no time at all. It also helps to provide a barrier againstrust.

• When it comes to keeping car window tracks running smoothly, many prefer a sili-cone spray as a lubricant, since it won’t streak the windows.

• And when your chores are done and it’s time to play, a light coat of silicone spraywill also turn air hockey and foosball playing surfaces into fast-action fun!

DIY projects and spring-cleaning are all about preserving and maintaining what youhave and avoiding breakdowns.

Liquid Wrench has specialty lubricants and penetrants for these and every type ofDIY job. Learn more by visiting www.liquidwrench.com.

(NAPS)—The federal government says we spendabout 45 minutes a day cleaning. The secret to effec-tive cleaning is to make the best use of your time:

Get rid of clutter: Donate or sell reusable itemsand throw out the junk.

Use a multipurpose cleaner: You can save timeand money by using a cleaner for multiple purposes. One example: JAWS (Just Add Water System) Multi-Purpose Cleaner/Degreaser is non-toxic, doesn’thave a harsh smell and cleans appliance interiors andexteriors, tile, granite countertops, sealed woodfloors and even hard-surface outdoor furniture andgrills. Each bottle of 32-oz. cleaner comes with anattached refill cartridge (Jawscleans.com).

“The refill cartridge not only saves you money, it cuts down on kitchen cabinet cluttersince you reuse our bottles and just buy the small refills,” said JAWS International CEOBruce Yacko.

Clean from top to bottom and back to front: Dust and grime often collect on top of fur-niture, bookshelves or cabinets. Start at the top and work your way down. Then workfrom the back of an area to the front to avoid cleaning do-overs.

Choose the right air filter: Many air filters come with ratings that range from good topremium. Replace your filter every one to three months based on the manufacturer’srecommendation.

Focus on one project at a time: You could clean all the windows one day and save thebathrooms for next weekend. Or, clean the dirtiest room first. You’ll have a greater senseof accomplishment and a much cleaner house.

Save time while cleaning

(NAPS)—In the history of efforts to smell good, humans have tried all kinds of inven-tions. Ancient Egyptians placed scented cones of wax on their heads, while other cul-tures sipped rose water or chewed fennel seeds. Modern efforts at odor control have ledpeople to “crop dust” their clothes in a haze of wet sprays that may even be worse thanthe problem they aim to solve.

For centuries, the only real solution to keeping clothes fresh was to launder, dry-cleanor air them out for days. For most people, however, the demands of today’s busylifestyles leave little time for such labor-intensive methods.

Many of us have sought in vain for an effective way to freshen our clothes without atotal wardrobe change. Now, however, there’s a quick solution to get fresh on the go—Reviver clothing wipes. The easy-to-use wipes rub on dry to instantly remove unwantedscents from your clothing and hair.

The compact, reusable wipe is easy to apply in any situation. Slip the sleeve over yourfingers and rub it against your clothes to release its odor-eliminating compounds, whichleave behind a freshly laundered scent.

Los Angeles entrepreneur Ben Kusin invented them when he needed a way toremove the smell of smoke from his clothes but couldn’t find a simple and effectiveoption.

“Everyone has such crazy schedules these days, I just wanted to create somethingthat would allow you to freshen up on the go, kind of like breath mints for your clothesand hair,” said Kusin. “Reviver offers a quick and easy way for you to eliminate the smellof smoke, pets or even perspiration that lingers on your clothes, so you can feel freshand confident before you head out to your next engagement.”

With Reviver clothing wipes in your wardrobe arsenal, you can reduce costly andtime-consuming trips to the dry cleaner or laundry and the resulting wear and tear onyour clothes. Just keep the resealable, reusable packet in your purse, pocket, car, gymbag or desk to have it available anytime you need to freshen up.
