Thank you for joining us and participating in this community
discussion.
The purpose of this meeting is to take public comments on
proposed service changes that will be effective on Monday,
January 2, 2017. No final decisions have been made.

MEETING POLICIES
Be considerate of meeting attendees and COTA staff – please
silence cell phones and other technology
When it is your turn to make a comment or ask a question,
please remain at your seat and we will call on you
Ask one question at a time so the appropriate COTA staff
member may address your comment
Comments and questions are limited to two (2) minutes per
person
Participants are encouraged to complete comment cards

TIMELINES
COTA modifies service three times per year – the first
Monday of:
• January
• May
• September
January 2017 changes will begin on Monday, January 2, 2017

TRAVEL TIME ADJUSTMENTS
Travel times are proposed to be adjusted to improve on-time service on the following lines:
Local
• 1 Cleveland (Sunday)
• 18 Kenny (Sunday)
Crosstown
• 2L Crosswoods/Polaris (All Days)
• 21 Hilliard Rome (All Days)
• 81 Hudson (All Days)
Lines that have improvements and construction reroutes thatare noted in the presentation may have schedule changes as well

Goal:
• Link Far East Columbus,
Gahanna, Gender Towne Centre
and Easton Transit Center
• Provide new connections to
existing COTA service
Frequency: 60 minutes

Goal: Return Line 65 to its normal alignment along Gantz Road, following the completion of construction at the intersection of Gantz Road and Brookham Drive.

RETURN TO NORMAL ALIGNMENT AND STOPS: 16 E LONG, 38 EASTON, 40 NEW ALBANY INTL BUSINESS PARK & 92 JAMES/STELZER
Goal: Resume normal alignment for lines 16, 38, 40 and 92 and retain stop at the Easton Transit Center, following the completion of the renovation of the Easton Transit Center.

TEMPORARY STOP AND ROUTE CHANGE: 6 MT VERNON & 92 JAMES/STELZER
Goal: Provide the closest possible access to VA Ambulatory Care Center during facility construction at VA Ambulatory Care Center.
Proposed Stop Change: Along James Road/Stelzer Road at the west entrance to the care center
