INTRODUCTION

Oaklands Catholic School is a beautiful building, theformer manor house residence of General Napier sittingin eighty acres of landscaped grounds. In 1946 it becamea school run by the Sisters of the Convent of the Cross,amalgamating with Daley’s school in 1966 to becomeOaklands Convent School.

The school has a number of facilities which are availableto be hired out for a wide range of activities includingmeetings, conferences, training days, social gatherings,Christmas and birthday parties (including children’s) andeven weddings or dinner dances.

Our experienced catering team can provide refreshmentsranging from beverages to working lunches, businessbuffets both hot and cold along with a waitress service ifrequired.

We have a number of meeting and conference roomswhich can accommodate meetings for 4 – 50 (dependenton choice of layout) and ICT suites and classroomsavailable for training sessions.

Our Sports Hall, with its newly refurbished changingrooms is a great facility for Badminton, Netball,Basketball and Five-a-side Football. We also haveCricket nets available for hire.

Our Gymnasium is a smaller area ideal for martial arts,keep fit, yoga, zumba and children’s activities.

We are exceptionally lucky to have a theatre style mainhall which can seat up to 500. It provides the perfectspace for drama productions, concerts, weddings andparties. Technician support can be provided to assist withlighting and sound (subject to availability).A smaller more intimate drama room with lighting andsound facilities is available for smaller groups.

Our extensive grounds and sunken lawn provide theperfect romantic setting for your wedding reception withplenty of photo opportunities and marquee hire available.

We have a range of standard menus to suit all budgets orlet us tailor your menu to suit your tastes. If you have afavourite dish we can accommodate that too!Adaptable to suit your budget we can work with you tomake your special day one to remember.
