George Mead, Waratah· forward,- is" now showing the form that made him a good prospect last season. This player has forced his way back after an uncertain start, but to his. credit he wasn't too proud to go back to reserve grade.
We hope Russ Naughton of Lakes will soon be back in fine kicking form after his recent injury in the game against Cessnock.

Robbie Mace of Norths played-his best game last week: scoring a try by fine backing up and making another.
The player who really. played the good game for Waratah last week was Ronnie O'Connor. Although shy and quiet off the field, he really lets go when the game is on, thanks to the encouragement of girl friend, , Irene.
-A player who has shown good con-
sistent form throughout the season is Cessnock's third grade lock -forward Jim· Peek. Recently this pop.ular young chap became engaged and all Cessnock followers join· in wishing Jim and his future wife all the best.
