Our Ranch• We raise Australian

Shepherds on a working ranch in Wise County, Texas.

• Our ranch is not big, so we choose quality over quantity in our livestock.

• In addition to Aussies, we raise Angus / Hereford cross cattle and cutting horses.

Hilltop Ranch

• Hilltop Ranch is located in Wise County about 10 miles east of Decatur, TX.

• We moved to the ranch in 2007 and are still working to improve the ranch and our stock.

• We are also establishing peach orchards.

Cattle

• We raise Angus / Hereford cross cattle; which are often known as “Black Baldies” because of their white faces.

• This cross combines the favored Angus beef characteristics with the quiet disposition of Herefords.

Cutting Horses

• Millenium Man – who we call “Buddy” – is our two year old prospect currently in training.

• Buddy has been under saddle since January and on cattle since March.

Page 7: Hilltop Ranch Dogs

Our Dogs

• We have standard Australian Shepherds and breed for good working characteristics; which we believe also produces good family dogs. Our dogs are all “part of the family”, even if they have a job on the ranch.
