¡HACER UNA TORTILLA DE PATATA!
Necesitamos:
• Tres patatas
• seis huevos
• una cebolla
• Aceite de oliva
• Sal
We need
3 potatoes (big to medium size)
6 eggs
1 onion
Olive oil
Salt
1. Añade aceite de oliva a una sartén. Add olive oil to a pan over medium heat.
Add sliced potato and onion to the pan; they should be covered with olive oil and season with salt.
Cook on medium-high heat, for 8-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
4. Escurre las patatas y resérvalas. Deja que enfríen. Drain the potatoes, reserving oil for later use. Taste and season the potatoes with more salt, if needed. Allow them to cool for a few minutes.
Empezamos:
Crack the eggs into a bowl and season with a pinch of salt. Beat the eggs together and pour over the cooked potatoes and onion. Toss to coat.
6. Añade aceite a una sartén. Añade la mezcla y cocina durante 5-10 mins.
7. Add a little bit of oil to the bottom of a pan. Once hot, pour the potato mixture into it and cook on high heat for 1 minute. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for about 5-10 minutes.
Ahora la parte más difícil…. Now the challenge…
Continuamos:
¡GIRA LA TORTILLA! Flip the omelette!
1. Cocina hasta que se asienten los bordes. Cook until set along the edges.
Flip onto a plate larger than the size of the pan.
Slide back into a pan to cook on the other side for a couple more minutes.
