Download - Grammar Up Modal Verbs - Course Information
Welcome to our course!
I'm Ana Albi and I hope you will find the course as profitable as you anticipate it to be. Before you begin, some instructions on what to do each week.
On Wednesday of each week,
at 1:00 pm Brasilia time,
we will make the week's work available to you.
Every week, you will have the week's goal set out for you. You can click on
the title and see what is in store for you that week.
As well as the goals, each week brings lessons covering the modals of the
week. You can go through each explanation from start to finish, or choose to look only at the ones you have doubts
with.
You can go back and view anything as often as you wish, and at any point, if you feel ready, you may go to something
else.
You can go through and try each exercise from start to finish, or try only
the ones you want to reinforce.
You may re-do the exercises as often as you like or skip the ones you
are sure about.
At any point, if you have any doubts, you may send me an e-mail at the address you will find on our
database, or post it to our class help desk forum and let me and your
colleagues help.
Finally, there are only a few truly mandatory activities, which will help me assess your progress:
One interactive assignment per week, to be posted on the weekly forum. One weekly quiz, covering the material discussed during that week.
You will not be graded in these activities, and you may re-do or edit
them as often as you wish. It is your participation and improvement
that we are interested in.
The weekly assignments and quizzes will be available to you every Friday, so you have time to work with the lessons
and exercises before you try them.
On March 26, the final examination will be made available to you.
This test you may take only once.
There is no minimum grade necessary for you to receive your certificate of completion, but
you must have completed all the assignment, quizzes and the final test to get it.
If you weren't able to complete all the mandatory tasks within the week, you can still do them
during the weeks that follow.
The deadline for completion of the course is March 31st. This means that you must submit
or post all mandatory work until that day, including the final exam.
If you have any problems with this deadline, please send me an e-mail explaining the
problem and we will try to find a solution, if at all possible.
I'll be happy to answer any further questions by e-mail, but for now, click on other areas of
our course and discover what we have made available for you.
Enjoy!
