Andrew Jacobs is a Landscape Designer with SALT DESIGN STUDIO. His design approach has been shaped by his experience overseas working in sustainable agriculture and international development. Developed a teacher coaching model, based on the principles of frequent feedback and deliberate practice, that
has been adopted by all partner schools, and increased time spent on teacher coaching five-fold from the
previous year. Scores of proficient or advanced on standardized tests have increased by an average of 10.5
percentage points after the first year of adoption and by an average of 33.4 percentage points over two years.
Design and lead, with school leaders, weekly training on teacher coaching techniques, delivered to 17
