HOW do we do a General Evaluation?
![Page 11: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
You need a criteria!
![Page 12: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
HOW do we find a good criteria?
![Page 13: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
First, Two Things
![Page 14: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
What does an ideal meeting look like?
![Page 15: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
•How does it start?•What do the role takers say?•How are the table topics?•How are the speeches?•How are the evaluations?•How is the audience response?•How do the members interact?•Etc.
![Page 16: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
That is one source of criteria
![Page 17: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
Second, Look at“About Your Club”
section
![Page 18: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/18.jpg)
That is another source of criteria
![Page 19: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/19.jpg)
Let`s Make Our Criteria
![Page 20: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/20.jpg)
Example: The Timer

Includes reasons why the timing rule are important
Signal is easy to seeGently remind the TM if he or she forgetsAdd some fun, excitement or humor to the

![Page 21: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/21.jpg)
Example: The TimerWhat you might say…
Two things (at most):1 Good point1 Improvement point
“TM Suzuki did a great job explaining the timing rules. She clearly stated the different times and showed the cards in her explanation.”
“On the other hand, I wished She also mention why we have timing rules. In my opinion, time is a very valuable resource. If we go over time we “steal” other people`s valuable time. So, we should treat everyone's time with respect.”
![Page 22: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/22.jpg)
Write the Criteria
• Meeting Time• Timer • Toastmaster of the Morning/Day/Evening• Ah Counter and or Grammarian• Vote Counter• Table Topics Master• Evaluators• Etc.
![Page 23: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/23.jpg)

![Page 24: Getting Comfortable with General Evaluations](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022051710/5a65bb3c7f8b9a38648b4c8d/html5/thumbnails/24.jpg)
