OUR OBJECTIVE:• Leverage the unique assets of the Buckeye
Lake Region
• Attract State and Federal resources to enhance the wellbeing and economic prosperity of our residents
• Contribute to the wellbeing and prosperity of Central Ohio, our State and the Midwest.
OUR STRATEGY:• Seize the opportunity to become a regional
wellbeing destination that will positively impact the local economy and that of Central Ohio - once the water quality, governance and infrastructure issues are addressed.
OUR VISION:• A wholesome, family-oriented, multi-
generational regional destination based on local culture and respecting natural resources.
• A beautiful Lake, augmented by parks, docks and marinas, that maximizes the potential for water-based recreation
• A hospitable region, with a variety of lodging and entertainment options, clustered around a network of village centers.
• Improved infrastructure that crosses county lines and creates a well-functioning regional destination.
• A great place to live and work, with complete neighborhoods that support a diverse population and a high quality of life.
