11. Handling Precautions
Lock plate
After replacing the pad, insert the stud completely to the back, and slide the lock plate until it fits closely to the adapter.
When it is not locked well, there can be a risk of the pad coming off.
Consider the surface condition of the workpiece to be adsorbed and the operating atmosphere to select a pad of suitable material.
When a delay is generated in the time required to reach the specified vacuum, clogging of the strainer or vacuum leak from the pad can be the cause. Perform regular maintenance of the adsorbing surface of the pad.
