Humans life today becomes more and more virtual. We live in hugecities, with millions of other people. We live fast, move fast and work until late, withless and less time for establishing simple social relations, to know our neighbours. The compromise is founded in the virtual contact, through indirect platforms thatgive bites of flavours of human communication.
In the future, 21st century, this tendency is not going to change, but to in-crease. We will stay more inside our energy-efficient homes and will do everythingthrough virtual platforms, closed from society, end in being sociophobics. Even to-day, the public space is rapidly relocating to the virtual space, which is always clean, controlled and sterile. We abandon the far-away city-centres and city-markets, tothe virtual easy-to-reach space.
In this project I asked to find the role of architecture in contemporary socialrelations, and its ability to provoke social and environmental co operations. It is acase-study for how architecture can be a social platform and social relations gen-erator nowadays. The project started with a social-spatial study of old cities fabrics and old cities quar-ters- in which direct, non-formal and unexpected encounters were always part of city-life. It is one of the basic forces that keep it alive, ever-changing and updated forhundreds of years, until nowadays.
The second phase of the study was to confront the conclusions form the old
city with todays new technologies (construction, virtual space...), todays economicneeds (high density, urban open spaces) and with todays environmental issues. The result is several basic key concepts and a evolution of new city block typology.
The main role is making random encounters easier, funnier and unpredicted; it isthe stage of a play we slowly forget - personal encounter from the Third Kind.
The project suggests several key concepts regarding human relations in con-temporary and future virtual and individual society:
Encourage Random gatherings and non-formal meetings - stimulate socialrelations. Those encounters lead to social contact. Those encounters happen most-ly in junctions, cross paths or in quick movements from large scale space to smallone (elevator, Coffer shop, staircase...).
Social yet individual the delicate balance between the need for social lifeto the need for privacy needs to be kept. Architecture should give to the users theability to modify the space anytime. Besides that, a project should compromise thebasic need to self-express with the basic need to be part of a community.
Open source Evolution is a quality of nature and time. Self-sufficient city must obey this quality. Framed-chaos and non-hermetic planning provide aground for an updated, ever changing needs of individuals and societies. The im-portance is to develop a system that can adopt changes any time and to maintainunite.
Vernacular in - Self-evolvement = self-involvement, modify-enabled and ver-nacular fabrics are about dialogs, share and improve local environment by itself.

Memoria De emplazamiento
I Decided to develop a Street art Gallery nextto Estacion Franca. The area I choose, near thetrain station, is about 10 dunam, located right inthe merging point of Barceloneta, the old cityand the old port. That place is also a junction oftransportation infrastructure: railway, highwayand seaway.
The urban fabric is very heterogenic, extraordinary and complex: the extreme openspace of the port, the dense fabric of Borne, thelinear fabric of Barceloneta and the huge border caused by the transportation infrastructure. Thatmakes that place a leftover space in the verycenter of the city.
Right now the area is under constructionof multi residential buildings. I think it is wrongdecision for both sides: a waste of a potentiallywell-connected public space that may bridgein a unique way between all the different partsaround, and as living space it will always beinterrupted by noises (train, port, and tourist) thatwill harm the quality of life in the project.
I believe it is a perfect place to developa street-culture and street-art center. As atype of culture that naturally developed in theabandoned and undefined areas in the outskirtsof the city, that unique leftover and undefinedspace in the city center can be a perfect groundfor develop street culture in a half natural halfcultivated way.

A complete redesign of abandon house in Nesher. The house was extended along the years withoutany logic or concrete plan, followed by the evolution of balcony turn into a room, with a new balcony, and the same again. The original 2 rooms house built in the late 40s and by the years extended to 5volumes glued together. The main goal for me was to insert a logic that fts the residence way of life.

40X40X40 cm naturalwood or enforcedfabric box
2m Flexible metal wirewith cable inside
Closed decorated box
Description:Light-in-a-Box is a oor lamp made of the container of the object, vase or anything for the house. The design combines the rough heavy concrete brick with the light lightelement, made of different wood and fabrics. The Italian design is a lot about improvisation, taking simple ingredientsand makes it, with a good sense of the art, tasty and joyful. By choosingthe right raw materials, and combine them with others in a natural waythe magic of design is created. The use of varied contrast materials from different elds and industriesmakes the Italian design some kind of art-piece, yet practical. Light-in-a-Box follows those ideas in order to create a sustainable impressivecontainer that stays and can be used daily. The container is important asthe object within.

Description:Focus on container, the wrap; most of the time is more importantthan the object. The design re ects the delicate yet amusing Italian designs. Fromthe Campana brothers through Colombo to contemporarydesigns, there is always some humor in within the design. That joy
of creation makes the design not purely practical or logical- buthumane. So First there is a box, clean and simple appearance. Then it can used as two stools, or a stool and a small table, or aset of drawers, with a minimum help of a bit odd curvy element. The container is so functional so what it can hold inside? I guessanything but no one would refuse a collection of Luxury KinkyBlack Leather Ionic Columns... it is humane.
MaterialsStoolBox is made of two common materials - wood (from natural) andplastic (from industry), each one with its immediate characteristics-wood is orthogonal cut, plastic is more curvy. A mixing of differentsimple materials is very common in Italian design. It creates tensionand balance, emphasizing the idea that design is where the naturaland the manmade collide into one. This unity is essential.
Lifting up the whitepart, reveal slowlywhats inside
Now, besides the object, There are 2 stools ready touse, or a stool and a coffee table.
Placing the white part
