1.0 COMPANY OVERVIEW
DAMAZO SOURCING GROUP limited is a private business company
incorporated in Uganda. Its head offices are in Kampala, Uganda capital city but
with business operations stretching to other countries like Middle East, China,
Europe and U.S.A.
The company incorporated locally aims to acquire and render affordable but
quality and dependable services and commodities for and on behalf of its
customers as a world class procurement and logistics company, bridge the gap
between unemployed youths and available job opportunities both locally and
internationally. Channeling the available skilled and unskilled labour lying idle for
productive and gainful employment by researching and sourcing for available job
opportunities, in addition to offering money lending services and carrying out man
power/technical and vocational training services.
Born out of the inadequacy of standard and dependable procurement and
logistics management practices and institutions within the country and region,
high levels of youth unemployment in the country the management of the
company, who themselves are and have vast experience with procurement and
logistics management and manpower problems strive to help individuals,
companies/institutions and departments servimg as a reliable sourcing partner
for their technical, material financial and manpower needs.
We emphasize the efficient and effective procurement and logistics
management with appropriate manpower skilling for individual and corporate
growth and development.
Damazo sourcing Group limited seeks to effectively bridge the gap between
service providers/producers/supplies and the consumers of the same goods and
services to create arbitrage and employment balance in the national, regional
and international economy in the face of increasing globalization.
The organization is also; saliently poised to be an engine for youth empowerment
and development through promotion of good performance in the general conduct
of the business environment.
2.0 COMPANY BACKGROUND
The background to the inception and subsequent incorporation as DAMAZO
SOURCING GROUPLTD IS traced to its managing director A and founder
Mr.Kananura Daniel and partner Mr. Nkahirwa Pascal who have previously
worked on different business portfolios and ventures in the procurement sector
and training. In effect they sought to bring with them the wealth of experience

and knowledge acquired previously into this fairly new but blossoming business
concern for the benefit of not only their company but of individuals and corporate
entities locally and internationally.
Through the years as business leaders business researchers, marketers and
trainers, they have worked with people and institutions of all caliber , the largest
percentage of individuals being young adults and youth , making their company
and services vibrant working with and for the youth who have the greatest
potential for efficiency not leaving out the mature experienced professionals to
train and equip for best business performance.
With this well blended mixture of skill, experience and passion for the
undertaking by Mr. Kananura Daniel the managing director, the company takes
off into operations with a threshold of strong financial muscle/share capital base
but also with great management capacity for excellence since it is popularly said
that “each organization is ;nly an extended shadow of its top executive”

3.1 LEGAL STATUS
The organization is incorporated in Uganda as DAMAZO SOURCING GROUP
LTD a private limited company (company limited by shares) it is incorporated
with limited liability at Kampala by the registrar of companies as can be seen on
attached copy of certificate.
4.0 VISION AND MISSION
4.1.1 VISION STATEMENT:
Growing and becoming a world class procurement and logistics concern able to meet
the quality demands and standards of its clients locally, regionally and internationally”.

4.1 4.4.2. MISSION STATEMENT :
“To acquire and render affordable but quality and transparent services and
commodities for and on behalf of clients, individuals, companies and institutions within
Uganda, the East African region and beyond”
4.2 The main objectives of the company include the following;-
4.2.1. To commence, establish and carry on the business of procurement of goods,
services and works for and on behalf of clients, award contracts and as well monitor the
progress of contracts awarded to meet with the clients` needs.
4.2.2. To carry on the business of importation, exportation, wholesale, retail and
distributors of all types of merchandise, material, commodities and other goods of
whatever description.
4.2.3. To carry on the business of buying, selling, processing, blending, bulking,
packing, ware-housing and otherwise dealing, whether as principle or as agents in
maize, coffee and other agricultural produce in all their respective classes, grain milling
in particular and all kind of merchandise, produce, commodities in general.

5.2.4. To organize, maintain and operate for hire transport service in all parts of the
world for the purpose of transporting passengers, luggage, merchandise, mails, freight
automobiles, motor buses, motor trucks, air planes and other vehicles of all kinds.
4.2.5. To carry on the business of general Clearing and forwarding agents, ware-
housemen and carries.
5.2.6. To carry on all or any of the business of whole sale and retail dealers of and in
motor cars, motor cycles and accessories thereof, petrol and petroleum products, tyres,
tubes and other rubber goods, ivory (whether manufactured or unmanufactured) and
any other business which may be carried on in connection therewith.
4.2.7. To lend money or to provide credit of financial accommodation to any person or
company in any case in which such grant or provision is considered likely directly or
indirectly to further any objects of the company or the interest of its members.
5.0 BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
The company has a wide ranging scope of operations in terms of
activities/expertise and the geographical space.
5.1.1 In technical terms, the scope of the company offers, among others, the
following services as a business organization:-
i. Importing and exporting machinery, technical equipment/facilities,
commodities and technologies for and on behalf of customers /clients,
motorcycles, cars, bicycles, computers, furniture and construction equipment
etc.
ii. . Bidding for tenders and acquiring/signing contracts with companies and
government departments for the provision and supply of credible technical
and material commodities and services such as construction works, roads,
buildings, plants machinery, consultancy/labour serives etc
iii. Carrying out research into the employment market and doing other forms of
business and market research to help the company and other users provide
reliable information and connections to their clients and business partners,
setting up technical and vocational centres for manpower training
iv. Creating, maintaining and disseminating on up to date data base, on
employment, properties and other opportunities for the company’s clients and
partners.
v. To carry out money lending services/credit and financial accommodation for
persons and institutions in terms of short term and medium term loans/support/

vi. Recruitment and placement of people into job opportunities available locally and

6.1 MANAGEMENT HIERARCHY
The management structure of the company comprises the Board of directors,
managing director, operations manager, business Administrator, research and
marketing manager other staff and international business partners.
The company has department as listed above each of them with specific duties
and responsibilities under the direct supervision and oversight of the managing

6.1.1 The board of directors is a policy and for decision making body of the company.
Its powers (executive) are vested in the managing director of d DAMAZO LTD.
6.1.2 The managing director is the chief executive officer of the company, one of the
members of the board of directors serving as its secretary Day to day operation
of the company are under the supervision and direction of the M.D. He has the
power to hire and fire staff. Middle and lower level staff.
6.1.3 The operations manager will assist the M.D in creating and maintaining business
partnerships and links (connection) both locally and internationally. All activities
and operations of the company re headed by the O.M in collaboration with
Business administration and research and marketing manager.
6.1.4 The Business Administrator will serve as the accounting / finance officer of the
company directed by the M.D to keep financial records and advice the M.D
accordingly on key financial decision and matters.
6.1.5 Research and marketing manager does research on business and other
opportunities available locally and internationally to create and maintain an up to
date base. He/she will als; serve as the procurement officer and logistics
manager of the company, sourcing out contracts, clients and preparing bidding
documents for submission to potential clients/customers.
Information on jobs and other business opportunities he/she will be in charge of
trainings and orientations for recruits in collaboration with the O.M under the
direction of the M.D
6.2 STAFFING
Although the company links both skilled and unskilled persons to job
opportunities, its own staffing policy emphasizes employment of highly skilled,
professional and experienced persons in its technical operations. At both high
and middle level staffing, the company employs competent professionals such as
managers, marketers, researchers, trainers, customer relations experts,
accountants and administrators.
The understanding of the company is such that to be able to source out, find for
and connect people of all caliber to all kinds of job opportunities there is need for
a highly skilled and well motivated staff to navigate through the greatest
challenge of our generation high unemployment.
