The Dragon Hotel, Swansea, offers everything you’d expect of a four star establishment named as the city’s best in 2010
and is an ideal location for your private function.
We have two beautiful function suites situated on the first floor of the hotel and both of them have a private bar and
dance floor area within the room, keeping all your guests together in one place. We also have a couple of smaller rooms
that can be used for dining – we can cater for events for just a handful of people right up to a large dinner for 180
guests.
With an award-winning team of Chefs, the selection of food and drink available during your event will enhance any
occasion and we pride ourselves on catering for individual tastes and special requirements. We are more than happy to
work with you in tailor making a menu to suit your budget from an informal buffet to an extensive multi course dinner.
Why not start off your evening with some canapés and a reception drink? And to follow we have a selection of set
menus available for those on a particular budget or you can put together your own menu from the selection of dishes
which are priced individually. If you are looking for something more informal, then please take a look at the buffet
options we also have available.
If you are looking to make your event extra special and add some glamour to the occasion, we do have a red carpet
that can be rolled out for the arrival of your guests – at no extra charge - and we are more than happy to assist you in
sourcing suitable decorations and trimmings.
From Christening to Retirement celebrations, Birthday, Engagement and Wedding parties, Masked Balls and Proms to
Charity Meals and Dinner Dances, our experienced and friendly events team offer the professional support you need to
host a successful event and you can be rest assured that The Dragon Hotel is the perfect venue to celebrate any occasion.

These set menus have been put together to accommodate a set budget and the price is inclusive of a private dining room and a private bar (for parties of 40 or more and subject to availability – if numbers are below 40,
a room hire charge may apply).
The same menu must be selected for all guests attending (same starter, same main course and same dessert) and vegetarian/dietary requirements can also be catered for.
