FAITH FORMATION

➤ Saint Anne School works with our parents to help our students become faith filled Catholics

➤ Weekly Sunday Mass participation is very important so that students see their parents faith in action

➤ Once a month we have a Family Sunday Mass at 8:45 am. Students wear their school uniform, the choir sings, and we have our Food Sale

PARENT HANDBOOK

➤ The Parent/Student Handbook is posted on the school website and Sycamore.

➤ The Parent/Student Handbook has been updated for the 2017-2018 School Year.

➤ REQUIRED: Please read the Handbook and sign the form stating that you have read it and return to school by the following week

➤ The Handbook is important so that you know what is expected during the year

➤ Please ask your children for whatever was given them to bring home

CONSTANT CONTACT

➤ Every week an online newsletter describing the past week with photos will be put online

➤ It will also describe the week to come with a calendar section

➤ Please give the office a call if you do not receive it!

SCHEDULES

➤ School begins at 8:00 am

➤ Classrooms open at 7:50 but early morning care is available at 7:00 am

➤ Please see handbook, regarding excessive tardies, p. 39

➤ Dismissal for Preschool, TK, Kindergarten: 2:45 pm

➤ Dismissal for Grades 1-8: 3:00 pm

UNIFORMS➤ There are two different uniforms:

➤ Mass Uniform: ➤ Tie ➤ Oxford Shirt ➤ Pants/Skirt/Jumper ➤ Sweater

➤ Daily Wear ➤ TK-4 Girls: Oxford Shirt &

Jumper ➤ 5-8 Girls: Polo Shirt, Skirt ➤ TK-8 Boys: Polo Shirt, Pants/

Shorts, Belt

➤ We also have a PE uniform.

➤ All students wear PE uniform to school on the day of PE.

MERIT SYSTEM

➤ The Merit System is a way for students to be rewarded for good behavior, responsible work ethics, and acts of kindness throughout the year.

➤ Students receive points which they can use throughout the year for ‘RELAXED DRESS PASSES, a PIZZA/MOVIE PARTY EACH SEMESTER, and the end of the year KNOTT’S BERRY FARM TRIP.

➤ Students can also have points deducted for not doing homework, being unkind, and bad behavior
