Aurora is defined as “dawn” and is therefore always relating to

light. It is the thing that is constantly surrounding us and

affecting how we feel. It comes in many different forms, always

finding a way to seep into our day. Aurora speaks to a

state of mind. It speaks to a way of thinking and an emphasis on feeling. It’s a certain way

to interpret things and a certain way react to things. Aurora is

made up of 5 groups. 5 groups that are opposites, all the

while staying uniquely the same. Aurora is ethereally light,

luminously bright, translucidly clear, flittingly constant, and

murkily obscure. Simply, Aurora is a way to be. It thrives

on emotions and always takes its cues from the light.

Ethereal is a state of mind that makes you feel light, and makes you feel free. It sends you to a place, a place where you simply cannot be found. It possesses a delicacy that is all its own, adoring the lace and feathers, the cottons and the clean. It favors a lighter color; one that you can barely see. It’s heavenly, and it’s sweet, and it is simply looking for the bright white light.

Luminous is a state of mind that is vivid and clear. There is nothing that can break through the glass, and nothing that can change its way. It loves to play with the brocades and the fabrics that will hold their shape. It glistens in the sun with bits of gold and bolder hues. It’s got a glare that is bright, and is ready to start reflecting some light.

Translucid is a state of mind that is pure and true. It doesn’t disguise itself and it doesn’t

pretend, it’s transparent and always can be seen. It has films, dimensions, and layers, and a certain

innocence that is often unknown. It peeks through keyholes and passageways, mirrors and even trees. It consumes colors that are a brighter

natural, consisting of the pinks and the greens. It lives for the sheer and the holey, the light

and the free. It wears its heart on its sleeve, and it is just waiting and wanting to be seen.

Flitting is a state of mind that is temporary and brief. It’s always moving, altering every thought in your head and every fiber of your being. It gets inspired and touched by movement,

thriving off even the tiniest thing. It whips in the wind, and burns just to be free. It hardens in the sun, and flows in the sea.

It always has its hair down, wearing something loose that can fly. Silks and sheers make this mind really go. Its hues vary, but

are going to a deeper, movingly bright side. It’s one crazy, erratic thing, and it’s just been preparing to take off and flee.

Murky is a state of mind that is, well, murky. It’s obscure, and it’s dirty, and the light has run away. It isn’t entirely sure what it’s doing, or why for that matter. With an emphasis on corduroy and hand woven fabrics, it is full of a dense thickness that is ready to weigh you down. It prefers a darker shade of gray, and very little color. It’s grimy, and it’s smeared, and it has absolutely no intention of finding its way back to the light.
