Afterlastyears’thrillingworkonFalstaffandLaTraviata,RiccardoMutihasagainchosenthegreatcomposerGiuseppeVerdifor2017:Aida.

TheattentiontowardsmusicaleducationofnewgenerationshasalwaysbeenpivotaltoRiccardoMuti’sartisticactivity.ThroughtheRiccardoMutiItalianOperaAcademy,Maestroaimsatpassingontotheyoungartistsfromallovertheworldwhathe,himself,learntfromhisteachersinalineagethatinthehistoryfindshimconnectedtoGiuseppeVerdithroughArturoToscaniniandthroughhisownteacherAntoninoVotto.

DuringthefirsttwoweeksofSeptember,Maestrowillworkatthepiano,onthepodiumandwiththeorchestrainclosecontactwithtalentedyoungmusicianspersonallyselectedbyhim.ThesecretsofmusicalconstructionarepassedonfromMaestrotothestudentsinanaturalsymbiosisleadingthemtogethertothefinalgoalofinterpretation.

Rehearsalsareopentoanyoneinterested.Fortheentireperiod,theaudiencewillbeabletofollowtheintenseandaccurateworkthatleadstotherealizationofanopera.

Theparticipationintheaudienceisopentoeveryonewhowishestoattendtherehearsalswithnoexceptions(nostudytitlenecessary,noagelimit,nodeadlineforapplication–subjecttoavailability).LowerpriceticketsareavailableforlistenersstudyingatConservatoriesorMusicalInstitutesofthesamelevel.

AttheendoftheRiccardoMutiItalianOperaAcademytheeffectivestudentswillreceiveaCertificateofParticipationandlistenerswillreceiveaCertificateofAttendance.BothcertificateswillbesignedbyRiccardoMuti.TheapplicationformsneedtobesubmittedwithinJanuary31st,2017.(Forlistenersandaudience,applicationsandreservationscanbesenduntilSeptember2017).Thecallforapplicationisavailabledownhereinpdfwiththeapplicationform.
