APPLICATION FOR OUTBOUND MOBILITYWHAT IS ON OFFER?
- Assistance in applying to partner Universities- Assistance in applying for a visa- Fee waiver tuition with partner universities- Semester long programmes i.e. ISEP etc.- Summer/Winter School Programmes U21 etc.
COMPULSARY REQUIREMENTS?
- A solid academic record with an overall average of 65%- A letter of approval from your Faculty stating credit will be awarded in the case of a semester long programme- At least one year remaining at the University of Johannesburg as a student upon your return- A valid passport- Unless stated otherwise, sufficient funding available in order to sustain yourself while living abroad.- You need to meet the admission requirement set by the partner University e.g. language proficiency etc.- Proof of inoculations and general state of health declaration from Campus Health or health care provider of your
choice
HOW DO I APPLY? Complete the application form available at the International Office and submit the following:- Completed application form, budget documentation and travel documentation; (please note! Under no
circumstances will handwritten or scanned application forms be accepted)- Official bank statement;- 1 Passport size photo;- Visa application requirement;- Comprehensive CV;- Official Academic Transcripts (Certified copy)- Identification pages of your passport (Certified copy)- ID (Certified copy)- Letter of motivation/personal statement on why you would like to participate in an exchange programme/summer
school.- A letter of approval from your (Faculty & HOD)- Visa (flights will only be booked upon receipt of Visa) (Certified copy)
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
- Have you filled in all the forms and provided all the information required?- Have you looked at websites of the partner universities, are you being proactive in finding information?- Remember you pay your fees & register as per normal to the University of Johannesburg during your time overseas.- After a completed application has been submitted, it will evaluated and short listed. Candidates will be interviewed
to finalize the selection process.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS- The successful applicant would have to be in possession of a passport valid for up to six months after returning to
South Africa.- The successful applicant would need to be in possession of a valid study permit/visa to register at the partner
