Action Plan
Asst. Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction
Directs and leads the C&I process for the district, including
development of instructional technology programs.
Executive Director of Curriculum and Staff Development
Directs a cadre of Instructional Facilitators who provide training
at campus level for engaging students at high levels.
Director of Instructional Technology
Provides support for all users of instructional technology and aids in design and implementation of
K-12 technology program.
Campus Principal
Directs and manages the instructional program at campus
level. Provides instructional leadership and directs
implementation of instructional programs.
Instructional Technology Coach
Provides support in curriculum delivery, staff development, selection, and strategies at
campus level.
Teachers
Implement technology instruction in the classroom.
Professional Development Plan
Needs:
After hours, hands-on, classroom simulated professional development that assists teachers in integrating technology in the classroom.
Technology cadre consisting of IT Coach, Principal, and one teacher from
each grade level, to facilitate integration of technology and instruction.
Goal: To provide professional development to campus staff for the successful integration of technology in the classroom.
Session One
Objective: Teachers will be provided hands-on training for the purpose of grade levels to design and implement one research/technology project per semester.
Persons responsible for activity: Technology cadre members
Supporting data: STaR Chart, Campus Improvement Plan, district LRPT, scope and sequence
Session Two
Objective: Teachers will be provided hands-on training on the design and set up of a blog to enhance learning and communication between teachers and students.

Supporting data: STaR Chart, district LRPT, student interview responses
Session Three
Objective: Teachers will be provided hands-on training on the design and set up of a Wiki for the purpose of collaboration and reaching consensus.

Session Four
Objective: Teachers will be provided hands-on training on how to make and use a podcast to enhance student learning in the classroom.
