The British Council is the UKs international organisation for educational and cultural
relations. In an increasingly disconnected world, we believe in creating connections
through cultural relations.
We do this by bringing people together from different communities and cultures
to share knowledge and ideas to make a positive difference in our societies. All our
programmes aim to build engagement, understanding and trust between people. And
that is our contribution towards making our world a safer place to live in. We have been
active in Kazakhstan since 1994, and work with educators, learners, professionals
and artists in the elds of English, Education, Exams and the Arts.
