As you all know our usual Stalls on the Green had to be cancelled although Peter’s plants were still put out on the green for people to buy and they raised £158 for Village Hall funds. We have decided that on 31st August we will have a home produce stall on the green. We hope to sell the following items, homemade cakes, biscuits, scones, jams, chutneys and any surplus fruit and vegetables that you may have. There will be no other stalls or teas or coffees but it is hoped that we can raise a small sum to make up for the income lost from having the Village Hall closed since March. Please bring your items along from 9.30am to the green and ensure that they are already wrapped. We will do the pricing. We hope that you will come and support the stall while of course maintaining the current social distancing rules. August Bank Holiday 31st August 2020 1st August is Yorkshire Day!
