Produced news content to run on the only 24-hour news channel in New York.Everyday duties included script-writing, producing story ideas, and organizing reporters.Duties also included producing in the control room and building each hour’s news wheel.

Reported on specific legislation as it made its way through the New York State Legislature.This included attending committee meetings to track bills and also sitting in on the Assembly and Senate during session.Coverage occasionally included events about specific initiatives from lawmakers.

SUNY Research Foundation Research Assistant (June 2012 — September 2012); Teaching/Research Assistant (September 2013 -- December 2013)

2012: Used research techniques to code the treatment of LGBT individuals by governments globally over fifty years.The project was designed to outline how LGBT rights have evolved in recent decades using the internet and archival sources2013: Teaching Assistant for Journalism 100 at SUNY Albany. Taught students visual and digital reporting styles.Also helped organize a trip for a group of Tunisian journalism professionals and students visiting the United States.
