1. OVERVIEW Xpress is a HTML 5 browser based trading solution that allows a trader to perform several trading functions that include: a) Tracking scrips of user’s choice by creating market watch groups. b) View market picture data for scrips. c) Place Buy/Sell orders to the exchange. d) View orders, trades and positions and holdings. e) View available and utilized limits. These features are explained in more detail in the consecutive sections.

To access Xpress, logon on using your User ID, Password and answer to your 2FA questions. Select Xpress sub-menu as shown in Market menu to start as shown

You can see multiple widgets at a same time to view, analyze and place order.

Windows can be move (up/down/right/left) anywhere with the help of + symbol prior to close(x) button. It will auto adjust to your screen. You can also increase or decrease the size.

2. MARKET WATCH The Market Watch menu allows you to add/ manage/ view market-watch groups and market data.

2.1. MARKET WATCH GROUP SETTINGS

CREATE MARKET WATCH

This option allows you to setup a named Market watch. Click Create Market Watch → enter the Market Watch name, or

click on the 'Market Watch' icon on the drop down menu.

Enter the desired market watch name in the Market watch name field and click Create.

ADD SCRIP

This option allows you to add contracts in a market watch. Select the desired exchange and enter first three letters of contracts and then select the appropriate symbol to be added in the market watch.

DELETE SCRIP

This option allows you to delete the desired contact from your market watch. Select Delete Market Watch option and then select the market watch you want to delete.

MARKET WATCH SETTINGS

This option allows you to re-arrange or hide columns. If you want to view a particular field in market watch which is hidden then you need to add that field in a non-hidden column. To hide a particular field, add that field from non-hidden columns to hidden columns. In the market watch window, the following details are provided and updated on a real time basis:

Market watch grid view: You can select grid view to watch market watch scrips. Click Grid view icon at the bottom of the market watch widget.

Refresh Market-watch Scrips: This option has been provided to refresh market watch scrips in case broadcast needs to be refreshed. Click the Refresh icon available at the bottom of the market watch widget.

Index view: You can add and view the value of any selected benchmark index.



2.2 SETTINGS

As per option selected in screen (see below), you can set fix settings like enabling or disabling Order Book, Trade Book, Position Book, Holdings, RMS Limits and Order Log.

2.3. MARKET WATCH PROFILE

1 and 2: to get buy and sell window. 3: Intraday, OHLC (open, high, low, close) and compare scrips in charts. 4: Security and Index alert: Invoke set alert from the Menu. You can set alerts on a stock or an index, based on the security’s last trade price, total traded volume for the day, total traded value for the day or security volume weighted average price.



As shown in the image below, you can have alerts sent to your email id or mobile number.

Once alerts are set, alert details will be listed and seen in Alert book which later can be modified or cancelled.

5: Provides basic information pertaining to the selected scrip. The information includes: Tick Size, Board Lot Quantity, Price Unit, etc.

6: Scrip view shows traded details, charts, order status etc for a particular Scrip. Orders can be placed from this window itself.



7: Quote window gives a complete snap shot of a scrip’s is performance in the market on a given day and a given point of time. Information like Open, High, Low, Previous Day’s Close gives an indication of how a scrip fared on that particular day and the top 5 bid/ask price gives an indication of liquidity in that scrip at different price levels. Based on this information you can place orders.

2.4 OPTION CHAIN

An option chain lists out all put and call option strike prices along with their premiums for a given maturity period.



2.5 MULTIPLE MBP

This is a unique feature which Xpress offers wherein Multiple Market by Picture (MBP) provides a snap quote of all the scrips in a market watch in one window. You can later switch between market watches from the multiple MBP window.

2.6 HEAT MAP

With this feature you have a convenient way of tracking the performance of various scrips. Stock list can be viewed based on the market watch group. User can invoke Heat Map from Menu > Trade > Heat Map. Switching to market group option is available in this window.

2.7 CHARTS

You can view intraday charts for a particular scrip by selecting the chart icon from market watch. You can convert this chart to OHCL chart. An open-high-low-close chart is a type of chart typically used to illustrate movements in the price of a financial instrument over time. Each vertical line on the chart shows the price range (the highest and lowest prices) over one unit of time.

2.8 RMS LIMITS

You can view Trading Limits set for your account such as ledger balance and margin utilized. You can view your limits in a tabular format for a chart format



The following limit details can be seen:

Cash Balance Total Cash available

Pay In Amount It shows the deposited amount

Total Available Balance Its shows the total cash available in a trading account

Margin Used Its shows the margin used in a trading account

Pay Out amount It shows the withdrawal amount

Max Pay Out amount It shows the max pay out amount that can be requested

Buy Exposure It display the exposure amount given for buying

Sell Exposure It display the exposure amount given for selling

Margin required can also be checked from buy and sell order entry window, image below for reference.

2.9 TOP N/ BOTTOM N

This is a feature where in stocks are scanned and ranked based on trade value, trade volume, open interest volume, % change previous value, open interest value considering nse cash, derivative and commodity market. This indicates the gainers and losers.

2.10 COMMON LINK

This option allows you to access the links provided for making pay-ins or requesting payouts. Pay In: Use this menu to transfer funds from your bank account to your trading account. Pay Out: Request a pay out from your trading account to your bank account using this option.



2.11 YOUR PROFILE

This menu provides options to view your registered profile, change password, modify 2FA security questions and switch between widgets and colour profiles.

User Profile: Shows contact details, bank details, exchanges enabled, DP account details etc.

Change Password: Use this option to change your password keeping in mind the password policy mentioned on the page.

Modify Q&A: Use modify Q&A option in order to change the security questions or to change the answers set

previously and save your choice.

Page guide: This feature provides descriptions of pre-configured options in the application. You can use no. 1 to 9 given image

Ticker

The Ticker Bar at the bottom shows scrip details of scrips in market watch. Its movement can be controlled.

3. XPRESS FUNCTIONALITIES

3.1 ORDER ENTRY WINDOW

Buy Order Entry (F1): The user can invoke Buy Order Entry window by selecting a scrip on the market watch and clicking on B or using the F1 key. Scrip details such as Symbol Name, Instrument Name, Exchange Segment

would get automatically picked up from market watch for the selected scrip.

Sell Order Entry (F2): The user can invoke the Sell Order Entry window by selecting scrip on the market watch, and clicking on S or using F2 key. Scrip details such as Symbol Name, Instrument Name, Exchange Segment

would get automatically picked up from the market watch for the selected scrip.

3.2 ORDER BOOK

Order book is invoked from Menu> Order Book.

Once the user places an order, it appears in the Order Book window. Information regarding the status of the order, quantity and other details are provided. If the user wishes to modify or cancel an open order, user can do so from the Order Book window. It will display all the order status which are open, open pending, completed, rejected. The order details can be viewed from the order book by selecting the order and clicking the details tab.

Modify: Modifying open orders are allowed through the order book.

Cancel: Cancel open orders using the cancel tab provided.

Customize: This feature helps you customize order book columns.

Exporting order book data:

This feature facilitates having the order book data into excel for future reference.



3.3 TRADE BOOK

In Trade Book you can to see trades which have been executed successfully in the market. From the Trade Book window you can change your trade position from intraday to carry forward position or carry forward to intraday position.

Trade book can be opened from Menu > Trade Book. Trade Book allows exporting the data as customization is also allowed. Please refer the Order Book section.

3.4 POSITION BOOK

The Net Positions displays the Buy, Sell and Net positions of scrips. The position window can be selected from the main menu. You can view consolidated positions in the Net Positions Window. These positions can be further bifurcated according to the exchange/segment or according to the contracts for which the trade was made. This window also provides some vital information like Exchange details, Net Qty, Net Value, LTP (Last Trade Price), MTM (Mark to Market), BEP (Break Even Price), Sell Avg Price, Buy Avg Price etc. in all contracts.

You can convert position partially or fully from one product to another. Select the scrip position from the position window and then click on Partial Position Conversion button. You will get the partial position conversion window as shown below in which you can specify the lots and then click on submit button in order to do position conversion.

You can square off your position either one by one or all at one go.



4. SPREAD ORDER

Used to place the Spread Orders, following three types of orders are available in it.

1) Spread Order: Only one order either Buy or sell can be placed through this option.

2) 2L: This option is used to place 2L (2 legged) order.

3) 3 L: Option can be used to place 3L (2 legged) orders.

The multi leg order entry window allows you to place spread orders between two scrips on the same exchange. You can long-roll or short-roll any positions and try to achieve the desired spread in this manner. In the spread order entry window, you must enter the following details:

B/S: In case of a spread order type, you can select whether given scrip has to be bought or sold. If the first leg is required to be bought, the second will automatically get set to be sold by default.

Inst Name: Select the instrument name for the scrip.

Symbol: Select the symbol in which an order is to be placed.

Op Type: Select the option type of the desired scrip.

Strike Price: Enter the Strike Price of the desired scrip.

Expiry Date: Enter the Expiry Date for the desired scrip.

Total Quantity: The total order quantity for the order must be entered.

Price: Enter the price at which you wish to place the order. In case the user selects the Order Type as:-

Spread Day: The spread between the two scrips selected must be entered and not the individual price of scrips.

2L and 3L: The individual prices of the scrips selected must be entered.

Market Lot: The market lot size for the selected scrip is shown in this field.

Exch-Seg: The exchange-segment for which orders are to be placed must be selected here. The appropriate scrip details of instrument name, symbol, option type, strike price, expiry date appear in the drop-down for these, depending on the exchange-segment selected.

Order Type: The user must select the desired Order Type for placing the order. The user can select the following Order Types:

Spread Day: This type must be selected to place spread orders between two contracts of same symbol but different expiries. It is



commonly used to rollover existing positions, that is, to square-off position in one expiry and create fresh/ equivalent position in another expiry. You simply needs to enter the information for the first scrip and select only the expiry date for the second. As mentioned earlier, the spread or difference in price between the two contract selected must be entered in the Price field.

2L: This type must be selected to place 2-Leg orders for two contracts. Both the legs of the order are sent together as one order in case of 2L orders. The user can select any combination of Instrument Type, Symbol, Option Type, Strike Price and Expiry Date to place 2L orders. In this case, the Total Quantity and Price entered are applicable to individual legs of the order.

3L: This type must be selected to place 3-Leg orders for three contracts. All three legs of the order are sent together as one order in case of 3L orders. The user can select any combination of Instrument Type, Symbol, Option Type, Strike Price and Expiry Date to place 3L orders. In this case, the Total Quantity and Price entered are applicable to individual legs of the order.

Prod Type: The user must select the product type that is enabled for him, while placing the order. The product type field is used for internal classification as MIS, which is for intraday positions, or NRML, ARB, PMS which is for carry-forward positions. This is significant from a risk-management perspective.

Validity: The user must select the appropriate validity as 'Day' or 'IOC'. In case of NSE, the validity for 'Spread Order Type is Day', and for '2L and 3L Order Types, it is IOC'.

Pro/ Cli: This field is used set to Cli (short for client) by default for an investor.

Client ID: This field contains the client id of an investor client.

Client Name: This field contains the client name.

Participant Code: The participant code, if any, will appear in this field, corresponding to the Client ID selected.

B-W-L ID: This field shows the Basket ID for the order, in case of institutional baskets.

Spread order Report: This window helps you to get order history, modify orders placed via spread order window and cancel orders.



5. AMO ORDERS

After Market Orders (AMO) allow you to place orders outside market hours. These orders are stored in the system and sent to the exchange once the market opens for trading. You can place either buy or sell After Market Orders with details as described below. Buy Order Entry This option allows you to place Buy After Market Orders. The details are same as the Order Entry screen. Once an after market order is placed, it will gets displayed in the Order Book with the status “After Market Order request received”. These orders flow to respective Exchcanges once markets open for trading.

Sell Order Entry This feature you to place Sell After Market Order.

6. HOLDING BOOK You can see your holdings in this window with details such as total quantity, used quantity etc. in each scrip. It also features square off all holdings as well as collateral.

7. Basket Order To place bulk orders in one go, you can use the basket order feature available in HTML 5. Using this feature you can either prepare a file in txt or csv format with the orders in one or more scrips and upload into the system. To invoke, go to Menu > Trade > Basket Order. You save the file through Export List button provided and load the file through Browse button provided.

8. ORDER & TRADE REPORT

Order and Trade Report windows let you download your orders and trades executed across the exchanges on a given

day.

9. LOG INFO

This option shows messages such as Login, Order messages, Trades messages, messages from Broker Admin, Exchange messages etc. You can invoke this option by clicking the double arrows in the left bottom corner in the footer area.
