Definitions allow us to understand what we are reading.

• Students will give a description of what they believe their section of the Preamble means.

Independent Input

Students will each write what they believe their section of the Preamble means to them.

Collaboration

Students will then choose the definition they all agree with for what their Preamble selection means.

• Students will read their opinion of what the Preamble means to them to the members of their group.

• Group members will then compare the different meanings given to their selection of the Preamble.
