1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Purpose of this document

The purpose the document is to provide installation instructions for installaing the certificate for BPCS Video conference implemenation usage

1.2 Intended Audience:

This document intended for anyone responsible for using DM Building Permit System (BPCS) and getting below mentioned cerificate Exception while accessing Video Conference solution

1.3 Terms and Abbreviations:

2 Certificate Exception details

For DM BPCS Application users, when clicking on Video Conference link, if the below certificate errors, the user needs to configure the certificates by following section 3.

3 Users Side fix for the Certificate issue

Please follow the below instructions to fix the issue on Window OS.1. Downlaod and Save the certfiicate from DM BPCS Application General Messages / Appointment

user Guide to your PC/laptop as follows Create folder Lync Certifcate in C Drive Download the certificate and paste to “C:\Lync Certifcate” folder

2. Click start button, type “mmc” and press “Enter” as shown below

3. Click “yes” for the security warning and Console window opens as shown below

4. Click File ->Add/Remove Snap-in

5. Select “Certificates” on next page and click “Add”

6. Select “computer account” and click “Next” as shown below

7. Select Local Computer and click Finish

8. Expand “Certificates”

9. Expand “Trusted Root Certification Authorities” and right click on “Certificates”

10. Click Import

11. Below page opens. Click next button

12. Click Browse and locate the file in C:\Lync Certificate folder

13. Select the file and click “Next”

14. Keep the options default and click next

15. Click Finish

16. After few seconds you can see a message import is successful.

17. Also you can see “TEX Certificate Authority“ added below

Certificate has been imported successfully now.
