This fall seminar series is a tribute to the new Federal Equality Act, Equal Rights movement of the LGBT community. This free seminar series will highlight the diversity of the music pioneers and their impact on the history of Latin music and jazz. The seminar will focus on latin music, the jazz era and the diverse artists who were influential in creating it, including the great Tito Puente. Special guests will periodically attend throughout the seminars series. The Tito Puente Exhibit is housed at Hostos Community College and is available for viewing.
