Goals of DiscoveryGoals of Discovery
• Design and carry out a focused hypothesis-driven research study under the guidance of an Emory faculty investigator/mentor
• Analyze data
• Report findings in the format of a scientific manuscript
• Present a scientific talk or poster at Medical Student Research Day (during Capstone Course block) in April 2013 and potentially at a scientific meeting
• Gain understanding of hypothesis-driven research and investigation
