1 – Introduction
Hi its Shush, I want to first congratulate you for taking the
time out of your busy life to read and understand the
Residual Income Manifesto.
I don’t know the reason why you are reading this eBook.
It may be because you’re not getting the success and
results you want in your current home business and you
want some answers on how you can recruit more people
into your business, build a bigger team, get more
duplication, increase your income and reach the goals you
set out to achieve when you started in your home business.
Or you may be looking for a new home business that best suits you with a mentor that
can guide & support you to the success you always strived for.
Whatever you are looking for I am here to help you, my goal is to give you the answers
you are looking for and a blueprint for success that will help you finally succeed and
live a residual income lifestyle where you never have to worry about time and money
again. A life of FREEDOM!
To date in my 13 years of being involved in the home business industry I have
personally sponsored over 600 people and helped built teams of hundreds of thousands
of people which has led to thousands of people getting their lives back by quitting the
rat race.
I continue to personally recruit a min. of 3-4 people every month and do 3 way calls,
meetings, webinars, conference calls and coaching daily to help people get success.
Many people just like you enter the home business industry just as I did back in 2003
to develop a “Residual Income.” A passive income which automatically comes in
while you sleep because of the work you did previously. So many chase this holy grail
of residual income but never realise it.
I want to share with you the mindset you need to develop success because ultimately
your outer life is a direct reflection of what is inside you. The majority who fail and
quit never understand this. Later I will go into the“how to”and what actions to take.
Where it all began for me...
Although I joined my first home business
company in September 2003, my true
journey started in April 2004 when I
attended a training seminar event at a
London Heathrow hotel where I met a guy
called Peter Powderham (on the left of the
picture) who would in time become my
great friend and mentor.
At that time, I had been in my home
business for 7 months and was really struggling. I had mad countless mistakes and was
getting zero success. Barely struggling to afford the $30 ticket and the cost of getting
to the event, I decided to go at the last minute. I figured I had little to lose as things just
were not working out for me despite me being desperate to make it work.
It was the best decision of my life. That was the day everything changed for me and I
was opened up to a whole new world I never knew existed. This was the first time I met
Peter and saw him speak, he woke up that giant within me.
Peter shared he was a former London Metropolitan Motorcycle Police officer and his
previous jobs included being a milkman and furniture salesman. He had grown up on a
council estate, had no formal education and his dad could not read or write.
Despite his upbringing at that time he was making £35,000 per month in passive
residual income (approx. $50,000 per month). I was totally blown away as I never knew
this type of thing existed. I thought to myself if I could create a residual income of
£3,000 per month ($5,000 per month) within 5 years that would totally transform my
life. That was the day I made a decision to make it happen.
As a direct result of the actions I took (later I will share what I did) coming out of that
event for the following 6 months, I achieved that goal and far beyond in the following
5 years, and have been blessed to have lived a Residual Income lifestyle since 2008.
When you understand & experience Residual Income, OMG you will fight like a
warrior for it.
2 – The Power of Residual Income
What Is Residual Income?
When I totally understood the power of residual income I got so excited I that I could
not sleep and I knew I had to create it for myself, my family and for others. For me
Residual Income represents Freedom, Financial Peace and a lifestyle of owning your
own life. The definition of Residual Income is shown in the image below.
The most commonly recognized examples of Residual Income are:
1. Royalties earned from writing a hit song
2. Royalties earned from authoring a best-selling book
3. Rental income earned from property
4. Dividends paid on Investments
5. Income created by building a network of customers in a Network
Marketing/MLM home business
Now for most people examples 1-4 either requires major talent or having a lot of money.
Example 5 on the other hand is something that is accessible to anyone who has the
desire to change their life as it requires a low start-up cost and a willingness to learn
and take action.
My experience over the past 13 years of being in the home based business industry has
shown me where people go wrong, why many don't even get started despite joining and
why they fail in trying to create a residual income lifestyle. In this eBook I will share
my 7 Figure blueprint which has helped me generate Millions of Dollars in Residual
Income for my family and also for thousands of others around the world. I want to help
you to believe that you can do this and make it work for you.
I want to help you eliminate the words “I’m overwhelmed”, “I’m frustrated”
and “I can’t do this”from your vocabulary. The fact that you are here tells me you
absolutely can do it!
I’m excited to share this information with you because I know with absolute certainty
that if you learn and apply what I share with you here, you can experience a level of
success that you never even dreamed would be possible for yourself. How can I be so

3 - My Story
The first thing I want you to do is STOP looking at successful people in your company
and the home business industry and say I can’t be like them, its ok for them, they’re
lucky etc. Every single successful Entrepreneur I know including myself went through
the same struggles, frustrations, let downs, rejections & failures. They just kept going,
growing, learning & got better until they got the job done. They never quit on their
dreams and their WHY.
I was born in the UK and have lived there all my life. I travel all over the world and
have to say, I love the UK.
In 1990 I graduated with an HND in
Business & Finance and went on to work
for the Dixons Group (UK) in electrical
retail for 15 years. Here you see me pictured
right in 1992 when I was working in Dixons
Redhill, Surrey as Store Manager.
After 10 years of working for Dixons I
became very disillusioned with working
there and it not being able to fulfil my
dreams. Since I was a young boy, I had
dreamed of owning a business, so I started
my first business in 1999, an IT computer
repair business called The Computer Man.
I started doing this business part-time while
also working. I soon came to realize that
being a traditional business owner was not
quite as I imagined it to be.
By the middle of 2003, through some bad
business decisions, bad investments, and the stock market crash of 2000, I ended up in
£100,000 (approx. $150,000) of debt. Despite working a full time job of 40 hours in 4
days and my computer business 2-3 days a week, I still could not pay my bills. I was
getting £500 ($750) further into debt every month and was literally sweating in bed
every night wondering how on earth I was going to survive. I had a young family my
sons being 3 and 11 whom I hardly ever saw. I had no money, no time, no quality of
life, no lifestyle and was mega stressed out. I knew I had to find a way to change my
life and situation.
In Sept 2003 I was in a dire situation to make more money. I did a Google search for
“internet business opportunity” and found a network marketing home business with a
product of broadband internet (ADSL).
I decided to get started with the business because the investment was just
£250 ($375) using the last bit of limit on a credit card. At that time everyone was using
dial-up internet and I felt that there was a huge potential market for broadband or high
speed internet services. In fact, I saw no reason why everybody would not switch to
Broadband as it just makes sense.
I thought to myself, all I had to lose if I failed was £250 and some of my time. But if I
made it work, I could gain my life back. The idea of building a business part time for
3-4 years that would pay me an ongoing residual income was what made me get to work
and take it super serious.
10 years previous to this I was shown network marketing when someone showed me a
company called Amway. Although I did not pursue Amway because the household
products did not excite me, I was totally sold on the idea of the network marketing or
Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) business model and the fact I could build a residual
income leveraging the power of a team and helping them also reach their goals. The
only reason why I looked at it was the lady who showed me Dr. Tina, was a top
Consultant Doctor & her husband was a TV Producer. The couple already earned
multiple 6 figures incomes in their jobs, lived in a Million-pound house in Reigate,
Surrey and had huge credibility. I figured if they were involved then there must be
something in it.
In all honesty, when I started in my home business career, I had the odds totally stacked
against me to succeed. Back then I was working 70-80 hours a week, so I only had 4
hours a week to get started (This was one of the main things I wanted to change). Then
I had massive resistance from my partner at the time who could not understand why I
wanted to take on an extra commitment, especially as we had a young family. Lastly, I
was a total newbie having never done a home based business before, I had zero
marketing experience, and at the time my confidence and self-esteem was at an all-time
low.
Despite all these things, I was still super determined to change my life and was not
going to let anything or anyone stand in my way.
Coming out of the London meeting in April 2004 when I met Peter Powderham, I made
a decision to sleep 4 hours less a day for 6 months so I could create 20 hours a week to
work on my business.
Through embracing personal development and success thinking books, I got started and
I kept going. I had major failure in my early years, made all the classic mistakes and
felt like quitting time and time again, but my dream of having freedom from financial
worry and my desire to escape the rat race was strong enough for me to keep on going.
In time, I developed the skills to create success.
This determination has led me to go on to build massively successful network marketing
and internet marketing home businesses that now generate tens of millions of dollars in
revenue every year. In that process I also have helped to develop many top leaders in
the home business industry and helped thousands of people change their lives.
Creating success in your home business needs a shift in your mind-set, understanding
it is not a “get rich quick” hobby. It is a serious profession that can return you a serious
income. If you have not got the success you wanted to date, press reset and start again
with the following:
Treat it as a 3-5-year plan of learning and taking action. Give success time. If it
comes faster for you then great but for most it takes longer
Write down WHY you joined and what you want to get out of it
Visualize how your life will look in 5 years if you succeed and are earning an
extra $10K per month in Residual Income. Create a vision board
Have a student mindset and always remain coachable
Follow the proven success system as I will lay out later in this eBook
Be prepared to share and market consistently. DO NOT be a secret agent!
It has taken me years of learning and taking action consistently to develop the skills
needed that has created a successful business that grows every year. The best way to
learn is JUST DO IT, don't overthink things and learn along the way!

My Personal Melt Down in 2011
Sadly in 2011, my personal life was rocked when my marriage broke down after
19 years. My family meant everything to me and at the end of that year, I had a personal
melt down. I went into depression for several months. The only saving grace was the
fact the Residual Income I was earning from my business allowed me to take time away
to deal with my problems.
At the beginning of 2012 I made a decision to totally refocus on my business. I turned
my life around and had one of the most successful years of my life to date. I made a
decision to stop feeling sorry for myself, to stop blaming others for what happened to
me and to get happy again.
My son Jay, who is 16 years old (at
the time of writing this), moved to
Spain with his mother after our
separation for 18 months but I am
happy to say is now living with me.
At the time he was in Spain I was
blessed to be able to fly over to see
him or fly him over to me several
times a year because of the freedom I
have (I’m pictured with him here in
San Diego August 2016 on a family
vacation).
My loving family (Mum, Dad, Sister
& Brother), all live in the UK close to
me and have been a massive support
to me through the tough times.
Having people believe in what you
are doing definitely makes things
easier… in our industry it is
sometimes hard to explain to loved
ones what we do. I am very happy
that my brother, sister, extended
family, and many friends are
involved with me in my home business.
Today, I am blessed to be living my dream life and pursue my greatest passion of travel.
I normally travel twice a month, either building my business internationally or taking
holidays.
By following the blueprint which I am sharing with you in this eBook, I am now living
a life with financial peace. I know that anyone with a burning desire for success,
openness to learning, and a willingness to take consistent persistent action following a
system, can gain success and freedom in their home business. This is my wish for you.

4 - Developing A Success Mindset
I want to share a quote from Henry Ford which I absolutely live by:
“Whether you think you can, or you think
you can’t – you’re right.”
Having the right Mindset will determine
whether you carry on going till you reach
success or whether you will QUIT like the
majority.
Of course you are reading this because you
want to be in the top 4% who win, otherwise
you would not be reading this.
Now again you have to be patient here in
developing the right success mindset. You
cannot undo years of negative programming
overnight.
REMEMBER THIS: Your success in 3-5 years from now will be as a direct result of
the books you read and the people you most spend time with.
Over 95% of people are
programmed to limit their belief
in themselves as to what they
can achieve. They have a
mental cap in their minds of
what they can earn and
accomplish.
As shown in the picture on the
right this programming directly
determines your thoughts,
values, beliefs and attitude.
The “Thoughts” stage is
critical as it determines the
judgements, decisions, and choices you make in your life. This ultimately determines
the actions or inactions, which lead to the results that follow.
In 2009 I had success guru Brian
Tracy come and speak for me at an
event for a business we were
involved in together. He shared at
this event that anyone can take the
biggest annual salary amount they
previously earned in any single year,
multiply it by ten, and this is their true
earning potential.

Because of the programming you have received during your upbringing and the
influence of parents, family, friends, teachers, TV and media, over 95% of people will
never strive to their full potential as a result of limiting beliefs.
In the book “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”by T.
Harv Eker, the author reveals we all have a "money
and success blueprint." We all have a personal money
blueprint ingrained in our subconscious minds, and it
is this blueprint, more than anything, that will
determine our financial lives.
You can know everything about marketing, sales,
negotiations, stocks, real estate, and the world of
finance, but if your money blueprint is not set for a high
level of success, you will never have a lot of money –
and if somehow you do, you will most likely lose it!
The good news is that now you can actually reset your
money blueprint to create natural and automatic
success.
The book explains how your money blueprint works and shows how your childhood
influences have shaped your financial destiny. You will also learn how to identify your
own money blueprint and "revise" it to not only create success, but more important, to
keep and continually grow it.
I personally recommend everyone seeking success to read the books or get the audio
books shown in the picture below.
Why is it that the majority of people who start out in anything including business, sport,
music, going to a gym or trying to lose weight ultimately QUIT? Do you think that
every person that picked up a guitar with the dream of playing like their favourite rock
star succeeded? Of course not. Do you think every budding golfer who started playing
with a dream of becoming a professional golfer did what it took to achieve their dream?
Of course not.
Those that quit or settle for a life of mediocrity ultimately do not develop the skills and
the success mindset needed to achieve their dreams. Notice we did not did not say
“they did not have the success mindset” but rather “they did not develop the success
mindset.“ There is a big difference because with personal development and
reprogramming you can create a success mindset.
Start by ELIMINATING these words from your thoughts:
I will TRY
I will give it a GO
I’m OVERWHELMED
I CAN’T do it
I’m NOT GOOD ENOUGH
I DON'T DESERVE it
I’m FRUSTRATED
I’ll do it LATER – Tomorrow, Next Week, Next Month (Procrastination)

Developing Your Success Mindset
Developing your success mindset and personal belief is something anyone can do and
there are so many ways you can do this. Here are just some ideas:
Watch one video every day on YouTube from Success gurus like Anthony
Robbins, Brian Tracy, Les Brown, Zig Ziglar, Dr. Steven R Covey and other
successful people. Start your day with a video that sets your day up in a positive,
inspired and motivated way. Videos like these will get you in the
minds of highly successful people and give you the belief you can achieve
success.
Read daily! The plain fact is Leaders are Readers. Feed your mind with success
mindset books such as Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill, Secrets of the
Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, The
Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey & How to Win
Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. These books have influenced the
success of countless millionaires over the years and will do the same for you.
Listen to audio books. Some people don’t like to read or have little time. If you
listen to an mp3 player or music in your car, turn those into audio universities.
All the books mentioned above are available in audio format so make a small
investment into buying those and feed your mind with success mindset
information.
Attend events where you see highly successful people speak about success and
how to create it. Normally positive like minded people attend these types of
events, so these are great places to connect, network, and mastermind with these
types of people.
Just like you have to take a shower daily to stay clean and fresh, you have to constantly
be cleaning your mind with success mindset information to constantly wash away the
worlds negativity, and to have the belief that you can be successful. Sadly, most people
have dirty minds (and I’m not talking in a sexual sense. :)
Continuous Personal Development will help you build a body armour that will deflect
the negativity that is all around you from friends, family, co-workers & the media. This
will also give you an ongoing belief that can and will Succeed no matter what
challenges and obstacles you come across.
Success Mindset + Daily Action = Success
Having a success mindset is defined by some key things:
1. Having a burning desire for success
2. Masterminding and mentoring with successful people
3. Being goal driven
4. Learning through doing
5. Doing whatever it takes to succeed
6. Being consistently persistent in your actions
If you live by what is listed above, then you can achieve massive success in whatever
you set out to do.
I want to share something a very successful person shared with me:
“Society wants to beat the amazing out of you. You’re surrounded by people who will
give you permission to stay the way you are. You’ll get lots of advice to play it safe,
don’t take chances, and conform to the way everyone else does things. Most of those
people mean well, but their advice is not going to take you where you want to go.
To live a rich life, you have to challenge yourself and go after BIG dreams. You have
to take risks and be willing to fail, knowing that even in those failures, you will be
learning lessons, developing character, and moving closer to your goals. The guy or gal
who attempts to climb the mountain and fails to reach the summit, still lives a richer
life than the person who stays home watching it on TV.
Your gift – the ability to be amazing – is still inside you. You just have to decide you’re
not willing to settle for mediocrity anymore.”

5 – You need to Dream Big
Ok first of all I want YOU to:
DREAM BIG!
As children, we have an amazing ability to dream big, wanting to be footballers,
ballerinas, athletes, astronauts or millionaires. As we get older and life consumes us,
those dreams fade away. Parents, family, peers, and society reset our expectations by
telling us we need to do something realistic and something we can achieve more easily.
Ultimately, they steal our dreams!
This directly leads people to think smaller and having “realistic” goals like making
enough money to pay bills or clearing their debt. As opposed to having big time dreams
and goals of living in the house of their dreams, driving their dream car, travelling the
world 1st class or making positive contributions to causes dear to them.
The worldwide educational system teaches you that you need to get a good education,
get a good safe secure job, and then work your butt off to pay your bills for 40-50 years
working 40-50 hours a week, and
hopefully you will be able to
retire comfortable.
The stark reality is shown in this
picture that only 1% of people
retire rich and 4% are financially
fit when they reach 65. The
remaining 95% of people are
either still working, dead or flat
broke.
The dream of retiring rich is
blown out of the water, the dream
of travelling the world is blown
out of the water and many people have to continue working after they retire just to
survive. All those expecting their government pensions to support them have a very
rude awakening. Globally we have seen retirement ages and taxes increase, and
people’s quality of life in their golden years destroyed.
In many cases children become disillusioned, confused, and lose respect for their
parents. Under 10 years old, we see our parents as super heroes but by 16 years old
everything changes. The children will witness stressed out parents who are stuck in a
rat race, grinding away to pay the bills and often living zombie lives just to get by. It is
almost like their parents have given up on life. They are not fun anymore and they don’t
have time anymore. It’s of little surprise that these children, as they grow, also end up
giving up on those precious dreams they had as young children. They follow and clone
the lives of their parents.
You also NEED to THINK BIG I want to quote a dear friend of mine Matt Morris, a multi-millionaire author and home
business entrepreneur who I work within my current business. It’s about thinking and
dreaming big.
“It’s the ability to break out of common thinking that you’ve gotten stuck in, and begin
to dream about the huge possibilities that are there for your life, and I’ve found that
success is largely dependent on desire. A burning desire is what you MUST have in
your gut to do what’s necessary to succeed, but if you want to harness your passion,
your drive, your discipline, your determination, you have to have a burning desire, and
I’ll tell you the formula for creating that desire is through dreams.
Dreams are the fuel that fire desire! I can’t stress the importance of dreams enough…
Dreams are the fuel that gets you back on your feet when you’ve been knocked down.
Dreams are the fuel that give you the motivation you need to put that extra mile in.
Dreams are the fuel that provide the shear will power that allow you to say, “I can, I
will, and I must.” Dreams give us power. They allow us to stand out above the crowd.
They’re an essential element in leadership. Dreams provide inspiration to yourself and
others when they’re shared with enthusiasm and faith.”

You have to absolutely imagine what your life would look like if you had all the money
and time in the world. How would you design your life? Write down the following:
1. What would your dream home or homes look like and where would they be in
the world?
2. What would your dream car be, a Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley, Maserati or
Lamborghini?
3. How would you spend your days? What passions would you pursue?
4. Who would you spend your time with, friends, family and the people you love all
around the world?
5. What are the dream destinations you would travel to in the world?
6. How would you give back to causes dearest to you be it Charities, Organizations
or Foundations?
7. What would your life’s mission be to positively impact thousands of people in
the world?
If you can dream it then you can live it. Living your life by design is merely a choice,
a decision. You must have belief in yourself and develop the mindset that you can
achieve it as was described earlier. You have to believe you deserve the life of your
dreams and take the consistent action to reaching that.
I have come to realize that when you work and fight to reach your dreams, the journey
gives you energy and a zest for life. It’s a pursuit for happiness. True success comes on
the road to success and not necessarily from the end result.
So start to dream big and start to believe in yourself again. Be inspired by your dreams
and visualize them daily so you know what you want out of life.

6 – Getting Started in Building Your Home Business
Ok now I have helped you realize that your attitude, mindset, belief and ongoing self-
development is the key to success along with your ability to Dream & Think BIG, let’s
now get into how you get started and the actions you take.
One thing is to have big dreams but if you do not make a commitment to take the
necessary action to achieve those dreams you will fail. Many people who start a home
business simply do not stand the course of time and quit. Why? Because they did not
make a solid commitment to finish what they set out to do when they started.
Typically, if you are brand new to the home business industry regardless of your
previous background and success, normally it will take you 3-5 years of consistent
action (most people start part-time) and learning to build a successful residual income.
Yes, some people do it much faster and some slower but that is the normal average. The
only reason why you will fail is if you quit working your home business.
Commitment
As I mentioned earlier, you have to get your mindset right and treat your home business
as a potential multi million-dollar operation if you want it to pay you a multiple 6 figure
annual income. Ignore the fact that you only invested a few hundred dollars to get
started otherwise, you will think cheaply of your business.
Commitment includes the following:
1. TIME – You have to make a commitment of time consistently in your home
business over 3-5 years. Just like if you did not show up to your job or business
you will not get paid. If you do not show up in your home business you will not
get paid. You have to sacrifice some of your entertainment and leisure time in the
beginning so eventually you will have all the time in the world to do what you
please. Typically, if you are working your home business part-time you need to
carve out 8-10 hours a week. This could be 2-3 hours a night in the evenings for
3 days and 2-4 hours on a weekend day. If you are working your home business
full-time you need to put in at least 25-30 hours a week. The more you work the
faster your success will come and your residual income will build.
2. MONEY – You have to commit and invest money into your home business, not
only when you get started but also for marketing, marketing tools, and for
attending events. Having DVDs, prospecting cards, company magazines &
company apparel shows you take your business seriously to your prospects. You
should also budget to attend company training events and corporate business
events. This is critical.
3. CONTACTS – Many times I have seen good people start a home business and
then not share their products or business opportunity with their contacts. They
become SECRET AGENTS! Either they are embarrassed, feel they do not want
to tarnish their credibility or do not want to destroy their relationships. My
question is why did you start the home business in the first place if you are not
willing to share what you have? If you truly believe in what you are doing, then
surely you will want to share it with everyone.
4. ACTION – You become successful in a home business by consistently taking
action in sharing and marketing your product and or business with others. The
number of times you expose your product and opportunity will determine your
success. In the beginning, you need to develop a core team of people that will
eventually continue to build the business with or without you. The faster you can
find 4-6 crazy ones within your team that you can run with, the faster your success
will come. You might need to build a team of 100 people to find those 4-6 crazy
ones that will transform your life. You have to be willing to do that.
There is no doubt that you will encounter challenges along the way and things will not
go right. People will try to steal your dreams, on occasions you will get little or no
results, the business won’t grow fast enough, sometimes your business may shrink, and
people quit on you. This is normal.
Either you let challenges put you out of business or you charge through them and use
them as learning experiences. I do not know any business owner, entrepreneur or
millionaire who has not had major challenges on their journey to success.
You have to make the commitment to keep going despite the challenges and keep
moving forward.
Focus
Being distracted and losing focus is a major killer to success in your home business. I
have been guilty of doing this on many occasions in the past.
The following Income Producing Activities are what you need to focus on that will
make you money in your home business and everything else is time wasting:
1. INVITING & MARKETING – Setting appointments so you can present
your home business or driving traffic to a lead capture page
2. PRESENTING – Showing people your products and business opportunity
using the right tools offline or online
3. CLOSING – Signing people up for your products and business
4. TRAINING – Learning how to effectively market your business and teaching
people to follow your success system
In the world we now live in with mobile devices along with the explosion in social
media, it is so easy to get distracted. It is a curse being stuck to your smart phones and
tablets reading messages, posting comments, posting likes, checking emails, reading
alerts, clicking on links, viewing viral videos & messaging people.
I am going to tell you to STOP doing it during the time allocated to building your
business unless it is related to you doing your Income Producing Activities. You are
burning valuable time. I can almost feel many of you gasping in horror at the thought
but if you’re not making the kind of money you want to be making then you have to
make a change. Again, in the time you allocate to do your home business FOCUS on
Income Producing Activities!
The other major way people get distracted and lose focus is by the lure of the latest,
greatest, shiniest, get in first “business opportunity” that hits your inbox.
DO NOT BE SO STUPID!!!!
Two major things to tell you:
1. Find the right product and business for you that you are passionate about and stick
to it.
2. Jumping from one business opportunity to the next will not make you successful.
Learning the right skills, having the right mindset and taking consistent action
will.
I have personally been involved in 5 network marketing companies and with almost all
of them I created great success in. The only reasons I left them were:
1. My first company I had massive success in but it got bought out and stopped the
network marketing business. (7 years)
2. My second company did not deliver the products they promised and I totally
lost faith in the management team. (3 years)
3. My third company was a startup which did not start up.
4. My fourth company was a startup that folded after 1 year because of poor
management and under funding. (1 year)
5. My fifth & current company I have been involved in for 6 years and I feel like
I have found my home. (6 years)
Of course if you are in a company and you have lost faith and belief in your products

7 – If You Chase The Money You Will Be BROKE!
There is a very big difference between building a leveraged business to create residual
income and just recruiting people to make money off them. This is one of the biggest
mistakes people make in the home business industry.
I see too many people aggressively recruit people, convincing them to join, making
false promises, false income claims and over hyping things just so they can make a fast
buck on bringing that person into their deal. Rarely do these people ever do anything
and very quickly they leave with a sour taste in their mouth.
Please engrain in your mind the quote below from Zig Ziglar one of the best home
business success trainers in the history of our industry.
One of the greatest traits of the very top income earners within the home business
industry is their ability to REACH OUT + LISTEN + ADD VALUE to people.
When you reach out to someone and connect with them, tune into what is good and bad
about their lives, only then can you give them a solution to their problems. Only then
can you know what will motivate that person to join you and take action in their home
business. Only then will you identify where a team member is going wrong so you can
mentor them to take the correct actions.
To create great success in a home business you have to help people that you sponsor
achieve their goals and dreams. Whether you build your business offline or online, you
have to add value to people and help them solve their problems.
The formula is:

TEACH
TRAIN
EMPOWER
Ultimately, helping people succeed and developing leaders in your home business will
create duplication and residual income for you and them. Be the sponsor and leader that
people will copy and duplicate. You may not be that person yet but that is where you
use and leverage the power of your upline, leadership, personal development and
company training.
Creating Duplication
Creating duplication in your network marketing business is key to developing residual
income and freedom. If you are always the only one doing all the work ie. Presenting
and training for you team, that's like having a job and you will burn out quickly as your
business growth will be reliant solely on you.
By teaching your team, leaders and organization to use marketing tools and leverage
training events is the fastest way to duplicate your business fast. Normally only people
with big egos resist this as they want to be “Presenter Man” or “Trainer Person”
for their team. Of course to a certain degree you still have to do some of these things
especially in the early days but the sooner you take yourself out of the equation
empowering others the more duplication you will get.
Identifying the next live wire in your team and developing them as a leader,
empowering them to carry the current to others is the key to duplication. Once someone
who is serious about the business joins and they are doing what they say, coming to
events, creating success you need to run with them. Now you may not personally
sponsor that person and they joined deep down in your organization but you must get
good at identifying those team members. I call it drilling for gold in your organization.
Especially when you team starts building fast, this is one of the MASTER SKILLS of
the business. You need to monitor you back office to see who is getting results, moving
up ranks and also identify them at company events.
At any one time I will directly coach, mentor, support and work with 4-6 of my strongest
leaders on a day to day basis as well as my personally sponsored team members. Be
careful to give your time to people who do not do what they say and suck your energy.
I learned the hard way that you have to say NO sometimes to the wrong people.
In the beginning you may well have to recruit a lot of people personally and for your
immediate team to find those core 4-6 serious people to run with.
Constantly cast vision with your team members talking about what you are going to
achieve together and remember always your job is to help other people succeed but only
if they are serious and are taking necessary actions.
As a leader your job is not to do the work for someone but to support them in the
business.
International Duplication & Team Expansion
With Social Media and the communication technology and tools we now have at our
disposal (I mention some later in chapter 10 – Building Your Business Online) it has
never been easier to build an International business worldwide.
KEY TIP 1: – If I sponsor someone in another country I will coach and mentor them
using video calling like Skype, FaceTime, FaceBook Messenger, Zoom etc. I will also
support them with 2 on 1 video calls when they are with their prospects or team
members. Then as the team grows I will do video calls into groups of people giving
training and doing Q & A sessions.
When that International team has grown to between 30 and 50 people which is the target
I normally set, I commit to flying to that country and supporting them in person. The
bigger the team grows the more frequently I will go and support them.
KEY TIP 2: - Become a great promoter of videos, presenters and events and teach
your team members to do the same. The better you and your team get at promoting
these things the faster the duplication.
This is the true meaning of the word TEAM:

Everybody

8 – Set GOALS (Critical Step)
You may have an amazing mindset for success and massive dreams but if you do not
have goals and a game plan to get there nothing will change for you.
I have to admit this was one of my biggest pitfalls in my early days in my home
business. On several occasions at training events, I heard top income earners talk about
setting goals and having action plans. I ignored them.
One of the turning points for me in making a breakthrough for success was when I
attended a personal development seminar event in 2006. At this event a multi-
millionaire speaker spoke about goal setting and in particular making a vision board or
vision book, and right then I had an “aha” moment.
I had been a non-believer up till this point that writing goals and having vision boards
really worked. I suppose this was ignorance, ego and arrogance on my part but I decided
then to action what I heard this speaker talk about.
When I got back from this event
I created a vision book and
wrote down my goals. I spent
some time thinking about what I
really wanted out of life, what I
felt passionate about, and how I
wanted my life to look.
By doing this exercise, you
manifest from the universe what
you want to attract and then you
focus your action to achieving
what you want.
Incredibly in the next year, I started to achieve the things I had written down and had
pictures of in my vision book. This was the point I saw a drastic change in my success
and life.
I want to share with you exactly how I do my goal setting using the method below.
10 Goal Method by Brian Tracy
At the beginning of every year, I implement the
10 goal method as taught by one of my mentors,
Brian Tracy. I write down 10 goals for the year
that I would like to accomplish.
These will include income goals, travel goals,
charity goals, business goals, health goals &
learning goals.
If I am writing my goals at the beginning of 2014
I will write them as follows:
Goal 1 – I have taken 5 trips abroad as of 31st December 2014.
Goal 2 – I am now earning $30,000 a month residual income from my home business
as of 31st December 2014.
Goal 3 – I have a zero balance on my house loan as of 31st December 2014
Etc.
Once you have committed your 10 goals to a piece of paper, you take a separate piece
of paper and write the 1 goal from the 10 that is the one you want to achieve at the top
of the page. You have to feel passionate about achieving this goal and thinking about it
fires you up inside.
Next you brainstorm on what specific daily action you have to take to achieve this goal
and write down 5-10 things action points you must do consistently until you achieve
that goal. Now you have to take the daily action until to achieve the goal.
I compare this to when you’re going on a holiday and making a list of things you have
to do before you go, normally the day before. Typically, the list will include have
passports, documents, adaptors, holiday money, cosmetics, pack clothes etc. It’s
amazing how much you can get done when you write it down and take urgent action on
achieving it.
9 – Creating A Game Plan For Your Home Business
The game plan for your home business is very straight forward. It centers around the
Income Producing Activities I mentioned earlier. Start off by doing the following:
1. Create a weekly schedule of hours you will work your home business and stick
to it. This could look something like this:
Treat this like a job that you have to turn up to every week.
2. Decide how you want to market your business depending what your company
does and the team you are part of do. There are many ways:
- Sharing a link to an online video when your prospect is online (Never email it)
- Inviting people to conference calls or webinars
- Meeting people in person for a coffee (bring your sponsor if local & available)
- Go to your closest friends & family members house to show them
- Hold house business parties to expose them (use your sponsor if available)
(Note: I regularly video skype to support these for teams all over the world)
- Use your upline leaders for 3 ways calls with anyone likes what you share
- Invite people to local business opportunity presentations if available
- Take prospects to your company Training events so they see the bigger picture
Especially when you are brand new or have never had success your activity
should be only getting people in front of information and in front of people
already successful in the business. You should not be trying to answer questions
or objections or close people. Your sponsor and upline team are there to help you
do that until you learn yourself and get some results.
NOTE: One of the most common reasons I see people fail is they try and do
the business themselves and they never ask for help
Build the business in the way that you feel the most comfortable with. Over time
you may try different things and stick to a few that work best for you and your
team. When you build a big enough team and leaders develop you will probably
find all the above activities are going on in building throughout your team.

Ultimately you need people that you can expose your home business product and
business opportunity to on an ongoing basis. The minute you become a
SECRET AGENT and stop sharing, your business will grind to a halt.
There are 3 legs to the marketing stool for your home business. In time you should be
working in all 3 markets to gain big success.
The speed of your success in the early days will largely be down to your own credibility,
influence and skills you have along with the trust account you have with the people you
know. Now you might be thinking OMG I have zero credibility, zero influence, very
few contacts and nobody trusts you. Well the good news for you is I was very much in
that place when I got started. I did not let that hold me back because I knew there were
Millions of people in this world that were like me, sick and tired of being sick and tired
who’d had ENOUGH and wanted to change their lives.
If you commit to finding 500 people to show your product and business to in the next
6 months you will change your life. How do I know, well that's exactly what I did. And
those I have given that advice to who did the same have totally changed their lives.
Ok let’s explore the 3 markets of the stool.
HOT Market
Your hot market simply are the people who love you, trust you, support you and will
look at what you have because you ask them to. Again your success with your hot
market will largely depend on your credibility & influence plus you showing them with
conviction that you are all in, excited & are serious. Over the years I have seen some
highly credible, sometimes celebrity status people come into our business but they did
not engage and actually tell their contacts they were excited & their hot contacts should
partner with them. As a result, there were zero results.
Here is a simple script I would use with people you know to get them to have a look:
- I just got involved with this really cool idea/concept (say this with conviction & excitement)
- I really like it - Do you want to take a look?
With hot market contacts you can also use expressions like:
- I have something YOU HAVE TO SEE - I need your HELP with something - When in the next 24 hours can we get together for
an hour in person on online?
If you have an influential person come into your team who has high credibility and
engages, your business can literally explode. An example of that was the host of
Singapore Idol, Gurmit Singh, also a famous Comedian, Actor & Presenter, massively
famous in Asia joined our business in 2012 and he went to work. He signed up 8 other
influential friends some of which were also celebrities, he went to meetings, he went
on vacations which is our product and his team grew by 800 people in 8 months. Now
the interesting thing is that Gurmit was in fact a totally cold prospect for the guy who
sponsored him by reaching out to him on FaceBook.
Most people will normally have a couple of people who fall into the hot market category
to show as soon as you get started. The trick is show your hot market within 72 hours
if possible. With hot market people who you have high credibility over generally they
will need less information to join you because of the trust factor.
WARM Market
Your warm market is simply the people who would know who you are if you called
them, text them or messaged. The fact is by the age of 30 on average people have over
1,000 people in their warm market. The challenge here which I see time and time again
is reps pre-judging and cherry pick who they show their products and business
opportunity to. You may think someone on your phone contacts or FaceBook friends
will not be interested because:
1. They won’t like your product
2. They are too busy
3. They don't have the money
4. They don’t need the money
5. They are too successful
6. They are too old
7. They are too poor
8. They are too rich
9. They may laugh at you
10. They are too young
11. They are too old
12. They are too young
13. They tried & failed in network marketing
14. They are not very good on computers
Seriously the list can go on and on. STOP!!! Just show them and let them decide for
themselves whether they like what you have or not. By pre-judging you may just be
denying someone seeing an opportunity of their lifetime that they are desperate for
which could potentially reshape their family’s future generations.
Even if you have not spoken to them for a while connect with them and send them a
message like this (change to your own words if you want):
- I know we have not spoken for a while but it’s been keeping me up at night that I have something I need to share with you
- Can we talk today/tomorrow?
You should also look to expand your warm market constantly as you meet new people
and make new connections.
Personally I carry with me a book at all times a with a list of 50 plus warm market
people which I add to when I meet people that I will approach to have a look at my
business. Once I have a yes or no I cross them off my list. I recommend you do that too.
COLD Market
Many people never have to go to the cold market to build their home business, however
this can be very exciting. Challenging, but very exciting. Normally you will have to
show 3-5 time more people to get the same result as hot/warm market. In my first
business I built mainly from cold market because I really did run out of people to show
my business to. I hear that from a lot of people who pre-judged their contacts as
mentioned earlier who ask me how do I build in the cold market.
Building your home business in the cold market requires you to learn prospecting,
conversational and marketing skills. You will need to have a budget for certain tools
and marketing costs and decide how you want to market online or offline. There are
countless ways to market, the key is to test and scale up what works for you.
Using the F.O.R.M method
When you are dealing with the cold market your goal should be to learn about people
and what their pains and pleasures are to identify how your product and business
opportunity will provide a solution. This method is excellent if you meet sharp people
in your everyday life like a waiter, bar person, sales person, Professional person
providing you a service like Accountant, Real Estate agent, Lawyer, Doctor etc. This is
also a great method you can use when you attend business networking events, meetup
groups, personal development & success seminars.
Remember the goal here is to become a Professional friend maker and show interest in
people, build rapport, build trust, build likeability and show people you care. It is only
then people will be open to looking at what you have because they feel you can help
them.
This is what F.O.R.M stands for:
Family
Occupation
Recreation
Money
You ask people questions based on the above. For example:
Family – Do you have kids? How old are your kids? Do you get much time to spend
with your kids? Would you like to have kids?
Occupation – What is your profession? Is this your career? What do you like best about
what you do? What do you least like about what you do?
Recreation – What do you do for fun? Do you have any holidays planned coming up?
Money – The money questions is based around what they have told you in the previous
questions. For example:
If there was a way I could show you how you could spend more time with your kids
and family is that something you would be open to looking at that?
If there was a way I could show you how you give your kids everything they deserve
that something you would be open to looking at that?
If there was a way I could show you how you could build an additional passive income
alongside what you do already, would be open to looking at that?
If there was a way I could show you how you could build an additional passive income
meaning you would not have to work such long hours, would be open to looking at
that?
If there was a way I could show you how you could Travel more and pursue your
passions instead of just always working to pay bills, , would be open to looking at that?
If someone says they are open, then get their mobile number and connect with them on
FaceBook and tell them you will be in touch to arrange a call or meeting.
Whichever way you decide to market your business at any time, you should keep
introducing people until they develop into leaders and start building their teams with or
without you. You have to continue sharing and building your business until you are
living the life you desire.

10 - Building Your Business Online
I have people ask me all the time, how do they build their network marketing business
online? Now that literally is the Million-dollar question.
There are 3 main ways you build your business online:
1. Proactively recruiting via Social Media. This involves you connecting with
like-minded people on Social Media channels like FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn
& Instagram, engaging in conversations to build relationships and then sharing
your product and business with them.
I have personally recruited many people around the world using this method
which has led to some great leaders coming into my business.
There is the right way and wrong of building like this. Most newbies and amateurs
do it the wrong way. POSTING YOUR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY LINKS on
your FaceBook timeline DOES NOT work and you will annoy your friends. If
you’re doing that then STOP!
If you have a friend on social media you want to share you business or product
with simply private message them:
- I need to share something with you, can we talk today/tomorrow?
2. Use Attraction Marketing by Building Your Personal Brand. Back in 2005
I read a book called Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard which led me to adapt
this method. Today I have people approach me about my business and what I do
because of my online presence through my blog, personal site and Social Media
channels.
This book taught network marketers to build your personal brand YOU.inc and
you market by delivering value to people seeking answers. This is opposed to the
majority who market their company links so you are competing with every other
rep in the company who is doing the same. Examples of what you would share:
- Tips on recruiting that you have had results from - Blogs giving great value tips that you have written
or others have - Training tips you have gained by attending an
event - The association you have with top leaders, trainers
and successful people. Power of Association - Show your lifestyle without bragging. For example,
shoot videos while travelling or spending time with kids while most are working
You want to attract people to follow you because you delivery value, they are
intrigued by what you do and they like you, know you and trust you. Doing videos
is the fastest way to achieve this and with FaceBook live today you literally have
your own media channel. It is super powerful.
Of course getting in front of the video is going to be uncomfortable at first but
you have to just do it and you will get better over time. Nowadays with the quality
of the cameras on smart phones you have no excuse to start as no special
equipment is needed. I do all my videos using an iPhone.
3. Use Technology & Online Tools To Build Teams – Nowadays we have some
incredible technology tools to help build our teams including:
- Whatsapp – Create team text chat groups for communicating events,
recognition, new members, news & updates
- Facebook Messenger – See who is online to start instant chats
- Facebook Groups – Create Team group pages to communicate
updates, training, recognition, welcome new team members, provide
document downloads
- Skype – Brilliant for free 3 ways calls, group calls and video coaching
calls worldwide. I regularly do video skype calls into rooms of over
50 people for my International teams where they will have me
coming through onto a big screen. Great for training teams and doing
Q & A sessions.
- Zoom.us – Excellent new
technology that allows you
to do FREE video meeting
with up to 25 people for 40
mins
- Webinars – Using webinars for doing online presentations and
training sessions again are a hugely powerful way to reach teams and
prospects all over the world. Great thing is you don’t need to leave
your house and nor do your viewers.
Generating Leads Online
If you have never generated leads online using lead capture pages but want to do so,
be prepared for a steep learning curve. Many factors come into play here to do it
successfully including having opt in pages that convert, tracking visitors, driving

11 – The Proven Recruiting Success System
There is a simple system that can be applied to the success of any home business. When
you deviate from the system you fail. The 2 major mistakes people make are:
1. They try and explain their product and business instead of using tools like
videos, websites, webinars and presentation meetings.
2. They do not show enough people their product and business opportunity to
get results.
Below I describe the 8 main elements of the system for success.
1. Master the Invite. Inviting people to see what you have is one of the keys skills in
network marketing success. Most new people totally mess this up and blow out valuable
prospects. Your objective when you do the invite is simple, make an appointment to
meet someone so you can share what you are doing. That appointment will be one of
the following:
i) You go to that person’s house. Your hot contacts who totally trust you are more
comfortable in their homes and they are less likely to cancel the appointment or not
show up.
ii) You invite the prospect to your house.
ii) You invite the prospect to a house party presentation.
iii) You invite the prospect to a coffee shop or hotel lobby.
iv) You invite the prospect to be online while you are on the phone or skype.
v) You invite the prospect to view an online webinar presentation.
vi) You invite the prospect to meet you at the location of a local business opportunity
presentation.
vii) You generate leads online that are taken through an online sales funnel.
When you do an invite DO NOT be tempted say anything about your business or
product no matter what pressure your prospect puts you under to tell them what it is.
As soon as you give any information away at the invite stage you are giving your
prospect the opportunity to pre-judge what you have to share.
I will say it again DO NOT say anything. Just tell people there is something important
you need to share with them.
If they ask you what it is, just say you need to show them in person or online and it
can’t be explained over the phone. If they push you or insist they want to know ask if
they are online now so you can you them there and then. I they are not ask them how
soon they can be. If they keep pushing unreasonably tell them you will catchup with
them another time soon.
If you have an online business and use a marketing funnel make sure you have a high
converting lead capture page and high converting business presentation tour with follow
up autoresponders.
2. Use tools to present your business and product. These can include DVD’s, your
website video, webinars and business opportunity presentation events. If you find
yourself explaining the business and products, this will never duplicate as your
prospects will feel they will need to do the same. You only talk about the business and
products after your prospect has seen a presentation or in answering questions or
objections they might have. If you are new, your sponsor or upline team member should
be doing that for you as your expert.
3. The close – Ask people to join you. Ok this might sound blatantly obvious but once
you show someone your presentation you need to ask them to join. As soon as I have
shown someone a presentation I say “Now you can see why I as so excited. What did
you like best was it the product or the business opportunity?” At this point SHUT UP!
Wait for a response. If it is positive and they say what they like, you say “Ok lets get
you started.” If at this stage they have questions or objections, it is because they did not
understand something. If you are new, then you have to involve your sponsor or upline.
The expert may be with you at the meeting or you can get them on the phone, skype,
viber, tango or facetime.
Again, if your business is online make sure your presentation has a strong call to action
to get people to join you.
4. Follow up, follow up and again follow up. Ultimately your objective is to get a yes
or no from your prospect. I made this mistake many times when I first started and learnt
the hard way you have to follow up. People often need to see a presentation several
times or need more information to get to a decision. DO NOT leave it hanging. Never
think you are bugging people as they will respect your persistence and see that you are
serious about your business.
5. Emotionally detach yourself from the result. I can speak from personal experience
that showing 500 people your business and product in the correct way will get you
success. What I see time and time again from new reps is they show 10-20 people (often
the wrong way), they get zero results, some negative comments, they lose initial
excitement and belief, and they quit. When you are new you should be speaking
regularly with your sponsor, upline or mentor discussing what you did, what you said,
and how you can improve in dealing with your prospects.
When you’re marketing online, you will need to test different marketing methods to
find the ones that you feel comfortable doing that works for you. For example, if you
have zero marketing budget you may want to blog, do social media marketing or post
classified free ads. However, if you have a marketing budget you may want to use Solo
Ads and paid marketing methods to generate leads faster.
6. Attend events and get your team to do the same. Time and time again following a
training or company event I have seen people’s home businesses can literally take off
and go into major growth. I have always built my businesses with a goal to have more
team members at the next event than the previous one. There is nothing more powerful
than a room full of positive and energized success minded people. People who attend
trainings and company events tend to make life changing decisions there to take the
business seriously and go all in. This is one of the most important secrets to home
business success I can give you, and every top income earner I have met in the industry
will say exactly the same thing.
Imagine the energy of being in an event with 12,000 people like the one I attended in
Orlando in January 2016 pictured below.
In 13 years I have seen some really great people join my home businesses who could
have changed their family’s futures but they quit without every attending an event and
seeing the bigger picture of what they were involved in.
Anyone who joins my personal team who does not attend our Company training events
tell me they are not serious about their success and are not coachable through their
actions. I know it’s just a matter of time before they will QUIT!
7. Understand more people will say NO than YES. It is important to stay married to
the process of building your home business and divorced from the outcome. When
people say no to you, ridicule you, jest you and insult you, just know that this is part of
the process. Some people just won’t see it, for some the timing will not be right and
you just sort through people to find like-minded people like you.
There may well be a delay in you getting results as you find your feet and are learning
the skills to succeed. Remember the more you just do it, the better you will get and the
results will improve. You have to give it time. (3-5 years)
8. Have Fun and enjoy the journey. I see have seen so many people start in their home
business and they act so serious, desperate, unexcited, droopy or unhappy. Often this is
because they are chasing the money as described earlier on.
NOBODY WILL JOIN YOU!
People will be attracted to you and join when they see the following traits:
- EXCITEMENT
- PASSION
- BELIEF
- CONFIDENCE
- ENTHUSIASM
- CONVICTION
- ENERGY
Now you may not necessarily have all these traits but you can invite people and get
them in front of your sponsor or upline leaders who do have these traits. I have worked
with some new people who were very quiet but had belief and were brilliant at getting
people in front of me and working together they were able to build life changing
businesses.
12 – Massive Action = Massive Success
We have already established that your persistent, consistent action is what will lead to
your success in creating the Residual Income Lifestyle you desire.
If you want massive success in your home business, then you have to be prepared to
take:
MASSIVE ACTION Many people who join a home based business whether its offline or online get super
excited about all the things they can do if they succeed. They picture themselves gaining
financial freedom but the reality is they do not take the necessary action or give it the
necessary time to reach their dreams. They may show 5-10 people, get some rejection,
nasty comments and no results, and then they stop sharing or marketing their products
and business. Simply, they did not do enough; for long enough; they did not do what it
takes. Give success time, be patient and keep going until you win.
You have to develop your skills to become and marketer and eventually become an
expert. The definition of an expert is someone who has put in 10,000 hours into their
field.
Home Business industry legend Jim Rohn said the formula of success is:
Your level of success is equal to your level of skill multiplied by your
level of action.
Jim Rohn in his audio training stated, “if you want to experience the exact same success
in your home business as someone who has ten times your level of ability, all you have
to do is work ten times as hard.”
At the meeting back in April 2004 when I met Peter Powderham, I asked him what I
needed to do to. He said to me to go and show the business to 500 people within the
next 6 months and I would change my life.
That day I made a decision to do it and decided to sleep 4 hours less a day for 5 days a
week for 6 months so I could find 20 hours a week to do it.
I calculated I needed 4 appointments a day over 5 days every week for the next 6
months. Of course at the time I did not know 500 people I could share it with but I made
a decision I was going to make it happen. I made a plan of action of how I would find
4 people a day to share my business opportunity with.
This was my plan of action:
I wrote a list of 100 people.
I ordered 5,000 prospecting business opportunity flyers with a goal to post 100 a
day for 50 days to generate leads.
I created 30 post cards for Newspaper shop windows to put in their advertising
section to generate leads.
I committed to post 100 online ads both free and paid within 20 days advertising
my business opportunity to generate leads.
All my advertising offline and online advertising was sent people to an online
lead capture page. I called every lead to qualify them.
Every person I shared the opportunity with I asked for 3 referrals.
I implemented the above action plan and within 1 week I was showing my business
opportunity to 4-6 people every day. Most of these prospects I spoke to over the phone
and showed them my business opportunity video on the internet. A few personal
contacts I met with in person. I made sure I had an appointment set for every person
after they had seen the video to see if they were interested, go through their questions,
and get a decision of yes or no.
I literally went flat out for the 6 months and did not stop until I had completed what I
committed to.
My results were:
I sponsored 30 people (average of 5 a month).
My team grew by 300 reps who brought in 800 customers.
I created a residual income of £500 per month (approx $850) and was making an
average of £1,000 per month (approx. $1,700) in total bonuses.
6 of the 30 people I personally sponsored became my leaders and generated over
$1.4 Million in residual income for me over the next 7 years.
I gained massive belief in myself and the business.
I jumped 3 ranks in the compensation plan.
I developed a training system for new team members to give them every chance
to duplicate my efforts and get success.
Just as Peter had said, I completely changed my life by doing what he told me to. Those
6 months of taking massive action has meant I have worked from home exclusively
since 2008 living off residual income streams. I gained my financial peace and freedom.
Another thing that happened during that 6 months was my skill levels literally sky
rocketed. Within 3 years I became the number 2 income earner in that company, Peter
being the number 1, despite there being over 5,000 reps already in the company when
I started.
Everything changed for me because of the decision and commitment I made that day at
the training event when I saw Peter. How many of you are prepared to get 470 people
say NO to you in 6 months? I developed a personal force field to take the rejection and
had an expectation that most people would say no to me. It did not matter to me. I knew
if I spoke to enough people I would find some crazy ones who were like me. People
who had a burning desire to change their life and were prepared to take action to make
it happen.
You have to do exactly the same. This is about your and your family’s future. This is
about your financial freedom.
One of my mentors shared an experience that sparked him into action when he attended
a training event. He heard the speaker say this:
“If you’re the kind of guy or gal that comes home after work, plops
down on the couch in front of the television while you’re barely making
enough to pay the bills, if you’re the kind of guy that lets his favorite TV
show or sports team be more important than your family’s financial
freedom, you’re the kind of man that's not willing to go out and fight for
your success, fight for your family’s success, and the kind of man who
wants to leave a legacy of mediocrity for your children, I won’t call you
a loser, but my friend, you are definitely not a winner.”
Sometimes we just need a wake up call to change the direction of our lives. The most
precious commodity is time and before you know it 10, 20, 30 or 40 years can pass us
by and you will never get that time back on this earth. There is a World of opportunity
out there waiting for you to design the life of your dreams, you just have to go out and
seize it.

13 – Final Words of Advice

you have it in you to be more, then you have to make a change. If you continue doing
what you have done in the past years to have gotten the results you have and you
continue doing the same, then you will get the same results.
You have the same opportunity in life as everyone else to take control and create your
success. The only thing that will hold you back is you. Don’t be the person with excuses
of “I’m too poor, I’m not smart, I’m too old, I’m too young or I’m not qualified.”
Excuses are just lies we use to think small and live a life of mediocrity.
