Part - OneCentralised Online Admission Process
General Information and Procedure

1Terms used in this Booklet
1.1 Government means Government of Maharashtra.
1.2 Department means the School Education Department of the Government of Maharashtra
Mantralaya, Mumbai 32.
1.3 Secondary School means a school which provides a course in general education leading
to std 10th to the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) or equivalent.
1.4 Junior College means a higher secondary school which provides education of std 11th
and 12th leading to Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC). It includes
secondary attached Higher Secondary School. Independant Higher Secondary School
and Junior college attached to Senior college.
1.5 Aided Junior College means a junior college receiving any type of grant-in-aid from
the Government.
1.6 Unaided Junior College means a junior college not receiving any grant from the
Government. It includes Permanent word removed Non English Medium Permanent
Unaided Higher Secondary Schools.
1.7 Self Financed Junior College means the Higher Secondary School recognised under
Maharashtra Self Financed School (Establishment and regulation) Act. 2012. Having no
right to get any grant from the Government. It includes English Medium Permanent
Unaided Higher Secondary Schools.
1.8 Minority Institution means an institution declared as a religious or a linguistic minority
by the Government.
1.9 Management Quota means 5% of the total seats in a junior college, to be filled in by
the Management of the Junior College at their level as per the rules in force.
1.10 Minority Quota means 50% of the total seats in a particular minority Junior college,
to be filled in by the minority institution that runs the Junior college from among the
students belonging to the respective religious/linguistic minority as per the rules in
force.
1.11 In House Quota means 10% of total seats in a Junior College, reserved for those student
of secondary schools run by the same Guardian Educational Institute in that Division.

1.12 Online Admission Area : The area where Higher Secondary admissions are decided to
be done through centralised online process. The Online admission area covers - The
areas of Mumbai (MMRDA) region, Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad corporation as well as
Nagpur, Amravati, Nashik and Aurangabad Municipal Corporations.
1.13 FCFS means the admissions done through First Come First Serve basis.
1.14 State Board means Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary
Education.
1.15 Other Boards means the Education Boards other than the State Board viz. - CBSE,
ICSE, IGCSE, IB, NIOS and Boards of other States.
1.16 HSVC means an independent 4th stream other than Arts, Commerce or Scinece at
Higher Secondary level. (i.e. - Higher Secondary Certificate - vocational)
1.17 Bifocal Courses are those vocational subjects prescribed by the Directorate of
Vocational Education and Training can be taken as an optional subject (200 marks) with
Arts, Commerce or Science streams.
1.18 Division : The six Administrative Divisions established by the Government of
Maharashtra viz - Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati, Nagpur.

2The Centralised Online Admission Process
A) The scope of the Online Admission Process :
2.1 The online admission process for std XI, in the defined six online admission areas Mumbai
Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad
districts, Pune and Pimpari-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation areas alongwith Nagpur,
Amravati, Nashik and Aurangabad Municipal Corporations is applicable to all recognized
Junior Colleges affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board and it is mandatory for all to
participate in the online admission process, as all admissions will be done through online
process only.
2.2 The admissions in the Higher Secondary School affiliated to other boards (Excluding
the Maharashtra State Board) will not be done through this admission process. (Those
other Boards students who seek admission in to the State board Junior College can
participate in this admission process.)
2.3 Admission to Arts, Science, Commerce and vocational streams HSVC will be given
through the Centralized Admission Process.
2.4 Following admissions will not be done through centralized Admission Process :
a) Night Junior Colleges.
b) Millitory Junior Colleges
c) Special Junior Colleges for Divyanga/Disabled students
2.5 Students, who have passed SSC or equivalent examination from any recognized board
and seeking admission to std. XI in any of the higher secondary school in all above
destined six corporation areas, must participate in the online admission process.

B) Procedure of The Online Admission Process :
2.6 The centralised Admission Process for Std. XI will commence immediately after the
declaration of online result of SSC (State Board), probably in the first week of June,
however part-1 of the online admission form can be filled-in before the result.
2.7 After the online declaration of SSC exam. result, Part-2 of the online application form
will be opend for filling. After that, various rounds for online admission will be held :
1) Zero Round : This round will be arranged before the regular rounds. In this round
the admission to the Bifocal courses and HSVC stream will be given through
Centralised Admission Process.
From this round all Junior Colleges will start the admissions of management quota,
intra-institutional inhouse quota and minority quota too.
After the zero round vacant seats of bifocal subjects will be filled in as per the
merit of the student at the Junior College level from the students admitted through
regular round and it will be uploaded on the concerned website.
2) Three Regular Rounds : After zero round, three regular rounds will be arranged
for admission to all streams. Allotment will be done as per merit, reservation and
preferences given by the students. Student who have not got admission in zero
round, can participate in regular rounds.
3) Special Round : After three regular rounds special round will be arranged. Students
who have not got admission in previous rounds, and those who are restricted in
earlier rounds can participate in this round.
4) FCFS Rounds : After special round, as per the principle of first come first serve
rounds will be arranged. Those students who have cancelled their admission in
earlier rounds (zero round to special round), those who are restricted in earlier
rounds and who have not got admision yet can particiate in FCFS rounds.
2.8 The timetable of online admission rounds will be published on the website. Students
need to observe the instructions given carefully.
2.9 Admissions will be done through various rounds as above for available seats through
centralised admission process.

Centralised Admission Rounds
* From Zero round, all quota admissions will also start.
* Zero round shall be run only for admissions to vocational bifocal courses and HSVC
stream.
* The centralised admissions to all streams (except bifocal courses) will begin from regular
round-1.
Every Student desirous to take admission in any Junior College (Anyof the stream) in online admission area should apply online on theadmission website. For admission through any reserved quota one shouldapply through this online admision process.
No student can enter the process without online registration.

C) Admission Under Reserved Quota :
2.10 For admission in Junior College, Inhouse Quota, Management Quota and Minority quotain minority Jr. Colleges will be reserved.
2.11 It is also necessory to fill online form for the admission under any above quota.
2.12 Inhouse Quota : (Intra Institutional Quota)
1) Students passed std. X from secondary school (within same division) of the samemanagement who run the Junior College in online admission area are eligible forInhouse quota admission.
2) Under this quota, all Junior Colleges will have 10% seats reserved. If the educationalinstitute has no secondary school of std. X class, they will not have such inhousequota.
3) Under this quota list of eligible students (who have applied on online admissionwebsite) at the school level will be declared and admissions will be given purely onmerit basis.
4) Minority as well as Non-Minority Junior Colleges can fill inhous quota seats duringzero round or only after the special round and it can be surrenderd before regularround-1 or after regular round-3.
2.13 Management Quota :
1) Under this quota 5% seats will be reserved in all Junior Colleges. These admissionsthrough this quota can be done by the managerial institute itself.
2) Minority as well as Non-Minority Junior Colleges can fill management quota seatsor can surender it at any stage from zero round to the end of this admission process.
2.14 Minority Quota :
1) Under this quota 50% seats will be reserved in minority Junior Colleges only. Forthe students of minority community (religious / linguistic) only.
2) For this quota admission, the minority students (Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Muslim,Sikh, Parshi etc. religious or linguistic minority/non marathi speakers) are eligible.
3) For this quota admissions, list of eligible students (who have applied on onlineadmission website) at the school level will be declared and admissions will be givenpurely on merit basis.
4) Minority quota seats can be filled by the end of three regular rounds and the vacant
seats of minority quota if so, can be surenderd after three regular rounds only.
It is mandatory to update the admissions done through any of the Quota, on the website
of centralised admission process ASAP.

Quota Admission Guidance Chart
1) Admissions through Quota will be done at Junior college level from students who
have applied through this online process only.
2) If Jr. College Guardian sanstha has running no secondary (10th) school, then the
Jr. College will not have Inhouse quota.
3) Minority quota is reserved in minority Jr. Colleges, only for minority students. No
minority quota in non-minority Junior College.
4) There will be reserved seats for admission in Junior Colleges under various quotas
(Inhouse quota 10%, management quota 5%, Minority Quota 50%) . These quota re-
served seats can be surenderd within given time.

2.15 Admissions will be given as per the constitutional reservation as well as special
reservation applicable as per the existing rules.

NB : 1) Parallel reservation is a compartmental reservation, so the Junior college shouldconfirm the seats for parallel reservation while defining the seat matrix instead, justmentioning of social reservation.
2) As per the GAD circular dated 13.08.2014 it is mandatory to fill up the seats of
parallel reservation through the concerned social reservation catgory.
3) In case of inavalibility of students as per social and parallel reservation, the remaining
vacant seats (as per circular of General Administration Dept. dated 5/12/2014) will
be converted before the final regular admission round and these admissions will be
done on merit basis.
4) All admissions, in centralized admission process/rounds (excluding quota admissions)on available seats (including the surrenderred seats) will be done as per reservation
policy.

4) Technical Quota :
The students who have passed prevocational courses and subjects run under NSQF
at Std. X (Level 2) of Directorate of Vocational Education and Training will have
25% seats reserved for Biofocal subjects and HSVC stream.

NB :
1. Subject code numbers 81 to 94 (Total 14) vocational courses of Std. X will be
considered for technical quota.
2. Along with HSVC stream for the students of Arts, Science and Commerce streams
total 14 subjects of bifocal vocational syllabus (viz. A1, A2, A3, A4, A7, A8, A9, B2,
B4, B5, B9, C1, C2, D9) will be available for admission. For more information
regarding HSVC and Bifocal courses you can consult to the concerned Jr. College
.
Ultimately each and every applicant student will get admission as per his/her
merit. That is the basic objective of this admission process.
E) Fees :
2.16 In aided divisions of Jr. Colleges fees is charged as per the government rates.
2.17 The Fee of the unaided, self-financed/permant unaided Jr. College is decided as per
Maharashtra Educational Institutes (regulation of fees) act 2011 by the school
management, so the various Jr. Colleges may have different fees.
2.18 Thus there can be different fee structures for aided and unaided divisions in the same Jr.
College. For Biofocal and information Technology (IT) subjects, fee may be charged
seperately.
2.19 The detailed information of fee, can be obtained by visiting concerned Jr. College.
The student data of SSC Examination with the Maharashtra State Board will be
used for this online admission process. The SSC students appearing for Feb-March
2019 examination, can avail and get filled in their personal details on just entering
their seat number automatically. (Auto Fill) whereas other board's students can
fill in their personal details mannually by themselves.

F) Admission in Std. XII and Change of Jr. College :
2.20 Policy/Procedure for the admission in Std. 12th within the online admission area will
be declared by the Government.
2.21 Those students who have admitted in Std. 11th through this online process last year or
desirous of changing their Jr. College will get timely instructions on the website.
2.22 New admissions of Std. 12th as well as change in Jr. College or stream by the student
etc. will be updated on the website by the Jr. College.
The information of online admitted students will be made available to the state
board. The state board will confirm the online admission status of the concerned
applicant student desirous to appear HSC Examination.
So students are advised not to take admission except online admission process
to avoid the eligibility issue while appearing board exam.
Till the last student, admissions will be done through this online process only.

3To Fill Online Admission Form
* Online admission form has to be filled in two steps. Part-1 (Personal information) Part-2 (Preference order)
* Part-1 of the application form will be available to fill before the declaration of Std.10th(State Board) result. The information of this part has to be filled and get approved onceonly.
* Process to fill up Part-2, will begin immediately on declaration of SSC result (SateBoard). Before every round, Part-2 of application form can be updated.
3.1) How to fill Online Form :1) Purchase Information Booklet from School/Guidance Centre.2) Before filling admission form read inforamtion booklet carefully and try to understand
the complete admission process for this you may seek help of your school/guidancecentre.
3) Login to the given (areawise website first).4) Login ID is provided in the Information Booklet. Use the same for first time Login.
Change the pass word and remember new pass word for next Login.5) Select the security questions and give correct answers and remember the same.6) Take print of security questions and pass-ward, preserve it carefully (Never disclose
your password to anyone).Part-1 :7) To fill online application form follow the instructions, step by step displayed on the
screen.8) The information of regular students appearing Maharashtra State Board Exam March
2019, will appear automatically on screen, after entering his/her SSC seat No. check thesame information carefully.
9) After entering upon the SSC seat number, if information is not displayed those students(State board or other boards) should fill the information mannually by self.
10) Fill online admission form from school/guidance centre. After filling Part-1 ofapplication verify the information filled in (i.e. Name, Mother's name, date of birth,category, Reservation Mob. No. etc.) and get it approved from school/guidance centre.
11) Furnish all documents required for approval.
12) Take print of approved form and keep it for further use.
13) Those students who won't get their form approved, such incomplete form will remain"pending" and such forms will not be considered for online admission process. And alsothey can't fill Part-2 (preference). Therefore after filling online form check "MYSTATUS", it must be approved. Part-2 can be filled only if my status is showing approved.

14) Those who are willing to make changes in Part-1 after submission, they have to get it
corrected from school/guidance centre only, for this they should furnish the relevent
documents at school/centre and resubmit the corrected online admission form and keep
print with himself/herself of the same.
Part-2
15) On declaration of SSC (State Board) result, the process to fill up the Part-2 will begin.
16) On completion and approval of Part-1 as above, students can fill up Part-2 (Preferences).
17) As Part-1 is complete, website directs you to Part-2 which displays state boards SSC
students total marks and percentage of best of five subjects. Other students have to enter
their SSC marks manually.
18) After entering upon the total marks, please choose a stream as well as medium of
instruction for the admission then a list of concerned Jr. Colleges (Aided/Unaided, Self
finance) will be displayed on the screen, then decide your preferences order accordingly.
* While deciding the preferences, consider all the aspects regarding stream, fees, medium,
aided/unaided type, distance from your residence, convenience, hostel facility, play ground,
sports training facility etc.
* Students can give minimum one and maximum ten preferences. First preference is
Mandatory.
* To prepare preference order, first decide stream and medium. Then prepare a list of Jr.
Colleges and among it give first preference to best suitable Jr. College and fix next preference
order.
* Don't include such Jr. Colleges in your preference order, in which you are not
interested .
* Last years (roundwise last admitted student) cut off marks are just for reference. Preference
order can be changed at every round hence cut off marks of each round may be different
while changing preference order, consider vacant seats and last round's cut-off too.
19) For online admission select minimum one and maximum ten Jr. Colleges for admission
(preferences). Then take print of admission form and preserve it.
20) Online Admission process information and time-table will be declared on website from
time to time. Therefore visit website frequently.
21) After any admisson round check your student login and confirm which Jr. College you
have got for admission as per your preference order. If you agree with it proceed for
admission within stipulated time and take admission in the respective Jr. College.

3.2) Important Instructions for Students / Precautions to be taken :
1) Students should enter Jr. Colleges code number carefully in admission form after
thorough study of booklet. After completion of online application form check and verifyform again before submitting online form. If any changes required in form make the
changes then submit.
2) Take help of guidance centres given in the Information Booklet.
3) Jr. Colleges list, intake capacity, fees, subject available etc. detail information is available
on website. Download the Jr. College list, go through it and prepare a list of Jr. Colleges
as per you choice. Even you can visit Jr. College and get detail information you required.
Student should fill online admission form either from school or guidance centreonly. Application form may remain incomplete/wrong if filled at other place andhence you may not get Jr. College of your choice.
4) Different code numbers are alloted to same Jr. college on the basis of types of grant,
stream and medium. Hence one Jr. College may have more than one code number. on the
basis of stream, medium and grant. Therefore be careful while selecting code number.
Jr. College code number, consists of eight alpha-numaric characters.
e.g. Pune Science, Aided, English Medium - PN123SGE
Arts, Unaided, Urdu Medium - PN123ANU
HSVC Self financed Marathi Medium - PN123HEM
Code structure of Jr. College -
1. Areawise Code - Mumbai (MU), Pune (PN), Nagpur (NG), Amravati (AM),
Nashik (NK), Aurangabad (AU)
2. Streamwise Code - Arts (A), Science (S), Commerce (C), HSVC (H).
3. On the basis of aid - Aided (G), Unaided (N), Self finance/Permanent Unaided (F)
4. Mediumwise Code - 1) Marathi (M), 2) English (E), 3) Urdu (U), 4) Hindi (H),
5) Gujarati (G), 6) Kannad (K), 7) Sindhi (S).

5) Students who passed SSC in more than one attempt should enter total marks of subjects
passed from time to time and neednot enter marks of failed subjects.
6) Student who finalises admission in Jr. College under any quota will be restricted for
regular round of online admission process. Eventhough student can cancel his admission
at any stage. These students may be considered for upcoming eligible round.
7) Student should fill their online applictation form carefully, if provided
information in application form found incorrect or Bogus then his/her admission
may stand cancelled at any stage.
8) After submission of online application form take print of the same and preserve it to
verify at any time.
9) SMS facility on the given mobile number will be provided. The receipt of application
and other concerned information will be sent through SMS.
10) For additional information or querries you can contact toll free helpline. If not satisfied
contact school or guidance centre.
11) One student can fill only one application form and choose only one stream in Part-2.
Inspite of this a student can change his stream, medium and preference order as per his/
her choice in Part-2 before any admission round.
If changes in preference order are not made in Part-2 in given time then previous
round preferences will be considered as it is for next round.
12) Merit list for each round is prepared on the basis of merit (SSC Marks), reservation and
selected preference order.
13) Application form (Part-2) submitted with less preferences or improper preferences
whichever may cause delay in online process and student has to finalise admission in
limited choices.
14) When first preferred Jr. College is alloted to a student in centralised admission, he/she
has to finalise admission in such Jr. College in given time by paying full fees.
Names of students got first preference will be restricted for further regular rounds
(whether admission TAKEN or NOT).
15) Students got other than first preferred Jr. College (2-10) and if he/she accept it, such
students can finalise his/her admission in respective Jr. College by paying full fees during
given period and such students names will be restricted for next regular rounds. If such
student do not finalise his admission in given college can get chance to update preferences
before next round.

16) Students should study the booklet carefully before filling application form and follow
the instructions given. By using your Login, check your present status of application
form. So that your application will not remain with PENDING STATUS. Incomplete or
applications with pending status will not be considered for admission process.
17) Fill and get approved application form from school/guidance centre only, as the
information filled by you and documents, need to be verified. (Be careful while
filling the form as the application form will be filled from students login only.)
18) Students coming from outside the online area can fill and get approved their online
application form from any guidance centre.
19) All student other than Maharashtra Board should approve their online application form
from nearest Guidance Centre. (If the facility is not available in their own school.)
20) Before every round vacant seat position will be declared on website, for your information
check it and take decision accordingly.
3.4) Withdrawal of Application and Cancellation of Admission :
1) After submission of online admission form, If a student wants to go for some other
course like ITI or Polytechnic can withdraw his/her application form. i.e. For those
students who are not interested in 11th admission and willing to go out of this admission
process, the 'Withrawal of Application' facility will be provided to them. These students
are requested to use this facility and withraw their applilcation to give opportunity to
others.
2) Admission finalised in Jr. College can be cancelled at any stage (As per instructions).
Such students can re-enter and participate in FCFS (First Come First Serve) round.
3) If admission is cancelled due to reasons mentioned in above (i.e. going out of the process)
point No. 1, Jr. College should mention the reason of cancellation as withdrawal of
application while cancelling his admission online. And if cancellation is for change of
Jr. College or change of stream mention reasons accordingly.
4) Students please note that after cancellation of admission there is no guarantee of getting
Jr. College of your choice. Jr. College need to make them aware of that.
5) Those students who have cancelled their admission or first preference allotted but
admission not taken (Except Zero round) will not get another chance in regular rounds
but, They can participate in FCFS rounds.

4Essential Qualification and Documents
A) Necessary qualification for std. XI Admission :
4.1 For the admission in Std.11th (State Board), the applicant student should pass Std.10thor an equivalent examination with English as a subject.
4.2 Students passing std. X with General Mathematics subject can apply for (Arts,Commerce, Science and HSVC) any stream, but they cannot opt for mathematics inany of the streams. Those students are also not eligible for the Bifocal subjects inScience stream.
4.3 For admission to science stream, student passing std. X examination (SSC) or an equivalantexamination with science subject (minimum 35% marks) are eligible.
NB : Students are requested to consider all the essential things for admission to any streamor subjects available to avoid the deprivation of admission.
For admission in Jr. College within the online admission area, a student shouldapply through the legitimate procedure of admission. A student can participate inthis online admission process at any stage by filling up Part-1 and Part-2 ofapplication form.

4.4 Applicants coming from other district for admission, must assure of their school's U-
DISE code on their School Leaving Certificate. If U-DISE code is not printed or
mentioned, the applicant need to obtain the counter-sign of that District Education Officer
on the School Leaving Certificate.
4.5 Foreigner student need to have signature and due stamp of the Consulate/Embassy on
their School L.C. and marksheet. Marksheet must be in English language.
4.6 If a student claims for Reserved Category (Social Reservation) seats he/she should
produce appropriate Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority or school
leaving certificate, as well as Non-creamy Layar Certificate/Income Certificate as
per requirement (except SC/ST) for verification at the time of approval of Part-1. Failing
which their applications may not be processed in the reserved category. Such applications
by default will be considered in unreserved category.
4.7 The benefit of Constitutional/Social Reservation is available only to the domiciles of
the state of Maharashtra. It is not available for those having certificates of other states.
The official list of castes of Maharashtra Government may be made available on the
website.
4.8 For applicants Claiming Special Reservation : while applying online, the applicants
must submit the required documents for verification at the school/guidance centre.
Otherwise the applicant may not avail the benefits of parallel reservation.
1) Divyang/Disabled : Certificate issued by the Civil Surgeon or the Dean of any
Government hospital, showing at least 40% disability. Students with learning
disability must produce a certificate issued by the competent authority.
2) Project/Earthquake Affected : Certificate issued by Collector/District
Rehabilition officer stating that project affected or earthquake affected or dependent
need to be attached/to avail reservation under this catogory.
The students who have appeared 10th exam in March/July 2019 with all
subjects and failed in not more than 2 subjects can avail ATKT facility.
Through this facility he/she can admit in class 11th but he/she has to clear all
SSC subjects before entering Std.12th.
Other board's students are NOT eligible for ATKT.

3) Wards of the Employees of State Government/Central Government/Private
Sector coming on transfer in the online admission area - Original Certificate
showing transfer of the employee from outside to the online admission area on or
after 1st October 2018. Further, the ward must have passed Std. X or equivalent
examination from a school outside of the online admission area.
4) Wife or Wards of Serviceman and Ex-Serviceman :
i) For Serviceman: Service Certificate.
ii) For Ex-Serviceman: Discharge Certificate or Certificate issued by District
Sainik Board.
5) Wards of Freedom Fighters : Applicants who are dependent on the freedom
fighters and are so nominated by the freedom fighters, must submit a certificate
issued by the District Collector to that effect.
6) International and national player students : While admitting the player students
against this reservation, the preference will be given to
i) Medal winner player students in international level competition first then
ii) Participant player student in international level competition and then
iii) Medal winner player student at the National level competition.
For std. XI admission, under above reservation, the certificates of concerned
competition (being winner or participation) should be authenticated by District
Sports Officer or Regional director of sports
7) Orphan children : Those applicants claiming the reservation of being orphan
children should obtain a certificate issued by the Divisional Deputy Commissioner
of woman and child development.

5After Declaration of Admission List
* After declaration of admission round list, the information about The Junior Collegeallotted to the applicant will be shown in student's login. Applicant should check thesame and do as follows -
A) If the first preference is allotted :
5.1 Applicants to whom Junior College of first preference is allotted; he/she must confirmadmission within stipulated time as per time-table in that Junior College with allrelevant documents in original with photocopies & on payment of full fees.
Names of such students who are allotted college of his/her first preference and admissionnot taken, will be restricted/blocked for remaining rounds (for selected stream) butthese students can participate in the special round or further rounds.
B) If the Junior College of 2nd to 10th preference allotted :
5.2 Applicants who are allotted Junior College other than first preference and are interestedin taking admission in the same, can confirm admission in the Junior College with allrelevent documents in original with photocopies and on payment of full fees. Names ofsuch admitted students will be restricted/blocked for remaining rounds for the concernedstream.
Applicant who has not confirmed admission in the allotted Junior College withinstipulated time will be allowed to change preferences for next round and if preferencesnot updated then the preference order of last round will be carried forword.
5.3 Please note that the candidate’s admission to the Junior College is subject to theverification of all documents by the admitting authority of the Junior College.
5.4 Upon securing admission in the allotted Junior college on payment of full fees, theapplicant shall collect a system generated ‘Admission Receipt’ from the respectiveJunior College.

C) If no Junior College allotted :
5.5 If no higher secondary school/junior college is allotted in the admission round, such
applicants will be considered for next round.
5.6 Such applicants should not get disheartened. They would consider cut-offs of Junior
college of their choice again and rearrange preferences and wait for the next round.
5.7 Online admission process will continue till every student gets admission.
All the students should solemnly note that, if any document you present or anyof your claim found not valid at any stage, your claim of admission shall bedenied.

6For Other Board's Students
6.1 Other Boards : Means the Education Boards other than the State Board viz. - CBSE,
ICSE, IGCSE, IB, NIOS or Boards of other States.
6.2 Students of other boards (Other than Maharashtra State Board) who want to take admission
in a Junior College affiliated to Maharashtra State Board within any online admission
area should fill online form and particpate in this admission process.
6.3 After entering the examination seat number, the other board student's information will
not be filled automatically as data of such students is not available. These students have
to fill in their personal information themselves carefully and get the form approved
from the nearest Guidance centre.
6.4 All student other than Maharashtra Board should approve their online application form
from nearest Guidance Centre. (If the facility is not available in their own school.)
6.5 If applicants result of Std. X is in Grade form, students have to get the grades converted
into marks from their secondary (10th) school Principal or as per the guidelines of
Deputy Director office. And after that only such students will be able to fill Part-2 of
the application form.
6.6 Eligibility Certificate - Students who have passed 10th exam from any other bord
need to get eligibility certificate from the state board after admission. An application
for eligibility (available with respective Junior College) is required to be submitted
alongwith necessary documents.
6.7 Other board's students can participate in this admission process with their provisional
marksheet. However they need to submit original copy of marksheet while comfirming
their admission in the Junior College.
Students failed in Std XI or coming from ITI/Polytechnic or from any other eligible
course can apply for admission to Std XI through this online process as per rules.

7Other allied aspects
A) For Parents :
1) Counsel your ward instead of pressuring and help him/her to choose a proper career
path.
2) No one else other than you knows better about abilities and guts of your ward. Be his/
her friend and help him/her making apt decision.
3) You should also understand the admission process and take right decision at right time.
You can take assistance from your ward's school or nearby guidance centre.
4) Frequently visit the admission website to know the instructions given from time to time.
5) The information booklet of online admission is made available in your ward's school or
collect it from nearby guidance centre. Get the form approved from there only.
6) It is better to fill form from your ward's secondary school or from any of the guidance
centres.
7) Part-2 of admission form can be updated before admission round. If necessary you can
change stream, medium, preference order there. After declaration of Admission List,
visit the concerned/allotted Junior College for admission with necessary documents
within stipulated time with your child.
8) If you want to confirm admission in allotted Jr. College, please go to the student login
and click on 'PROCEED FOR ADMISSION'. After this only visit the concerned Jr.
College for admission. If you are not willing to take admission please refere the
instructions given in Chapter-5 and take appropriate decision.
9) Keep all the required documents for admission (Like Leaving Certificate, Caste
Certificate, Income Certificate, etc.) well in advance.
10) This process is for the admission of your ward and you only, keep belief and do co-
operate to the system.
11) Give proper and correct Mobile Number while filling admission form. SMS will be sent
on this number.

B) For Junior Colleges (The admitting authority) :
1) Establish a full time set up and system to facilitate the students for easy admission, after
the declaration of admission list.
2) Display necessary instructions on the Notice Board and deploy enough staff to the
admission work, to avoid over crowding.
3) Ensure that, student can complete the entire admission process at single place only.
4) While admitting the student, Jr. College should verify all original documetns throughly.
If the student claiming reservation is not eligible for it, the Jr. College will record it and
if admission is rejected, it should be updated on the website accordingly.
5) Jr. College should ensure the updation of each admission on the website immediately
preferably on the same day.
6) Reason for the cancellation of admission of any student should be registered on the
website from following two options-
i) Withdrawal of application (parmanently going out of the process).
ii) Change in Jr. College/stream.
7) Vacant seats left behind (of Bifocal subjects) in zero round to be filled from students
coming through later rounds on the basis of their merit.
8) Ensure the filling of all reserved quota seats ahead of time or take the decision of
surrendering these vacant seats as early as possible. There will be no guarantee of the
enough number of students available against the surrendered seats at later rounds.
9) Display the actual data of filled seats and vacant seats after every round (including quota
admissions) at the entrance of Jr. College for convenience. And update it on the website
too. Refer and study the flow charts given in this booklet.
10) Junior Colleges have liberty to start regular classes after completion of 75% of
admissions at Higher Secondary level.
11) The active co-operation of everybody is anticipated for the prompt and smooth functioning
of this centralised online admission process.
12) It is compulsory for all Junior Colleges to participate in this online admission process
except Millitory Junior Colleges, Night Jr. Colleges and Junior Colleges for Divyang
students within the online admission area.

C) Role of Secondary Schools / Guidance Centres :
1) Make available information booklet to students and collect admission process fee.
2) Assist students in filling Online Admission Form and guide them about required documentsand verify it.
3) Help the students to fill the online admission form and give approval to Part-1. Helpmaking corrections wherever necessary.
4) Check the entered marks in Part-2 of Admission Form and assist students in fillingpreferences from time to time and an ensure the submision of form.
5) Assist students coming from outside of the online admission area or of other boards infilling form, give approval and update information etc.
6) As per the request of students reset their student login password.
7) Deposite the collected amount of admission process fee into the Deputy Dirctor'saccount time to time. And submit the account of booklets too in 15 days after thecompletion of admission process.
8) Complete and carry on various responsibilities given by the office of the Deputy Directorof Education.
9) Normally Guidance centres should be available from 10 AM to 5PM for assistance.However for student's convinience kindly display the working time of your Guidancecentre at the entracne.
The schools affiliated to other boards will convert the grades (if any) into marks
of the 10th students. The Principal may issue a certified copy of converted
marksheet to the students.

Students selecting Level-3 subjects designed under National Skill Qualification Framework
(NSQF) and run under Samagra Siksha Abhiyan can apply for centralised admission process
for Arts, Science and Commerce streams. However a student can study Level-3 vocational
subject from the same school where he/she has completed Level-2 or from any other
Junior College where Level-3 subject is available and taught. i.e. This type of students
may have facility of studying any of the Level-3 subjects from any nearest Junior Colleges.
