Here are the main lines of the future Direct Entry 5th Webserver Anniversary Tournament

th Webserver Anniversary Tournament

In order to celebrate the first 5 years of the Webserver Direct Entry

(DE) programme, the 2010 ICCF Congress (Kemer, Turkey) has

approved the organization of a special International Tournament

which will start on April 5th, 2011 – just the day of the anniversary.

To reward Member Federations and players for their support in the

DE program, the entry fee will be the lowest ICCF fee. There will be

3 stages (preliminary, semifinals, final), and prizes at all stages.

This is going to be a great and fast tournament, 10 moves/30 days,

conditional line available, title norms possible and a short playing

period for the preliminaries – 15 months maximum.

The Direct Entry 5th Webserver Anniversary [DE5A] event will be

open to players or new players affiliated with a Member Federation

accepting Direct Entry. Titled players (including FIDE title) and new

players from those Member Federations will be granted 1 free entry.

Registrations should start mid-December 2010. More details very
