A long time ago when dinosaur's roamed the earth there was still fire. Wild fires posed a pretty big threat to dinosaur's.

Lightning strikes are most likely the cause of wildfires back in the dinosaur age.

How do we know this?

We know about dinosaurs obviously because we find there fossils in the ground. But how do we know about wildfires?

When Archeologists consistently kept digging up good size amounts of charcoal with there dinosaur bones, they created a database of charcoal deposits for the years dinosaurs were around. They then came to the conclusion that wildfires were not only around during dinosaur time, but also could have caused many dinosaur deaths.
