Dinosaur Emergent Reader Print out the version of the emergent reader you would like

to use.

To assemble, fold pages in half with text facing out. Arrange

the pages, and staple along the left-hand side.

Introduce the book to the children. Take a look through the

book and discuss each page. Underline the color words with

crayons to help children make the connection.

If using the color version, encourage the kids to

brainstorm other items that are the same color

as each dinosaur. For the black-and-white

version, have children color each child the

appropriate color.
