SHOPPING
• Smithtown is a great place to raise kids and start a new family.
• It is a fairly quite town that offers activities for children and also gives the peace and quite that some look for.
• On each side of town there are many things for people to do. Such as:
– Shopping– Great Parks and Beaches– Great school teams to watch and
support.• The town as itself is composed of two
sides: West and East.• The School Colors for East are: RED
and WHITE.• The School Colors for West are BLUE
and WHITE.
• There are 9 elementary schools:– Smithtown– Accompsett– Tackan – Branch Brooke– Mills Pond– Dogwood– Mt. Pleasant– Nesconsett – St. James
• There are 3 middle schools:– Accompsett– Great Hollow – Nesaquake
• There are 3 high schools:– Smithtown East – Smithtown West– Smithtown Christian (PRIVATE).

• Smithtown East High School is composed of the kids who went to Nesaquake middle school, and also Great Hollow (depending on where you live).
• High School West is composed of the kids that go to Accompsett, and the other half of the Great Hollow kids.
• Smithtown Christian High School is a Christian high school that is located on the western side of Smithtown.
• It is a religious high school, where if you lived in Smithtown and wanted to bring your kids to a more religious school, you are able to do it.
• But this school is not covered by Smithtown taxes and is PRIVATE.

There are many places to shop in Smithtown such as the mall, sports stores and also many jewelry stores. The biggest place to shop though, is the Smithaven Mall. It has all of the stores imaginable for everyone and has a big food court in the entrance. Smithtown has many great places to shop, and you will never get bored.
