Intro

Hi folks, this is Ben Hewlett here on the harmonica, and Paul Lennon composing all the music and playing all of the other instruments.

This series of three volumes is called ‘Learn Harmonica’ and in it we willtake you through the basics of playing the harmonica using play alongtracks and ‘call and response’ tracks.

The easiest thing to do on the harmonica is to play chords so we startthere. We will work on rhythms initially, showing you how they look writtendown as well. Next we introduce you to single notes, one at a time, untilyou are playing simple tunes.

Next we have some music with chugging (our name for rhythm harmonica)and finally some tunes with the five notes you have learnt.

Then you are ready for the next book!
