• Definition: –a seven line poem that is in the

shape of a diamond

• Set up: –Each line of the poem is

written in a specific way– The order of the lines always

stays the same– We are going to adapt this

poem to show a cause & effect relationship.

*When you brainstorm the topic, think of an event that was major and had a significant effect.
