  • Exploring with a modular room type, it was critical to have and efficient and condensed room setting. This allowed for the exploration of a facade that would

block sunlight during the summer months and maximize sunlight during the winter.

  • BUSHWICH DOUBLE HOUSE

  • Bushwick,a multi purpose zoned neighborhood has been under -

ing industrial park and an uproar in the residential area, sets a place to explore abnormal living areas. with the art soaring be-tween the streets and the industrialization being abandoned, bushwick becomes a zone of recycling the remnants of factories

and a reuse of creative spaces.

THE SITE:WORKING WITH TWO CITY BLOCKS IN BUSHWICK, THE SITE CON -SISTED OF AN OLD ABANDONED FACTORY AND THE WHITE SPACE BETWEEN A RESIDENTIAL AND INDUSTRIAL BLOCK. STRATEGI -CALLY PLACING MY SITE IN THE THE MIDDLE OF THE ABANDONED BUILDING AND ALLOWING FOR PATHWAY THAT WOULD CONTINUE THE WHITE SPACE ON THE OTHER SIDE, MY BUILDING FORCED TO MEND THE GAP OF THE STREET AS WELL AS THE GAP THAT THE TWO

RESIDENTS WOULD LIVING THROUGH. ITS ALL ABOUT THE GAPS.

experiences intended to produce varying emotion and inspiration. Each pod has a roof terrace that connect to each other further em-

    phasizing the sense of community.

The abandoned structure now houses HSAs History, Left as a Rem-nant of the harlem community, which not only tie students to the history of HSA but the community as well and vice versa The Fa-cade of this building becomes public street art, where both stu-

dents and the community can display their work

To Further Connect ST. Nicholas Park With the Street, Hamilton Ter-race has become an extension of its Green Space. The new Green Pedestrian street is Intended to lose the division between nature and urban space as well as further engaging this isolated street
