IF YOU HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY COVID-19
AND NEED EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE,
THE SALVATION ARMY IS HERE TO HELP.
WHAT?The Salvation Army has received a grant
from the federal CARES Act to provide
additional services, including financial
assistance, to those financially affected by
the Covid-19 pandemic.
If you had a loss of income, financial trouble,
facing possible eviction or already homeless,
loss of utilities, lacking food, struggling to
pay household bills, had an illness or caring
for someone with Covid-19, or have other
situations that are directly related to the
onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, we may be
able to help you on the path to recovery.
HOW?Contact the case worker listed for your
county (see back) .
Case workers will work with you, discussing
your situation and determine how The
Salvation Army may be able to help.
Assistance may include financial help,
landlord negotiation to avoid eviction and
homelessness and providing for other special
needs as determined by your assessment.
WHY?The Salvation Army is dedicated to helping
those in crisis to avoid or return from
homelessness, address financial emergencies,
provide food, clothing and shelter to those
living in poverty and assist when a disaster
strikes. We do this as part of our mission to
meet human needs, serving in His name,
without discrimination.
WHO?Individuals or families in Bosque, Falls,
Freestone, Hill, Limestone or McLennan
County who can demonstrate that they
have been financially affected by Covid-19.
