“I love all of my clients. We con- sider them part of the family when they work with us,” Devyn Alex- ander explains, as she discusses her career in the mortgage industry. Her passion for this business is palpable; it is difficult to imagine her on any other career path. In fact, this has been her main pursuit right after graduating from college with a psychology degree in 2003. She jumped into the real estate industry as an escrow representative, and in 2007, she decided to become a loan officer. Today, she is the Senior Loan Officer at Prime Lending in Corona, California. She serves most of the United States, and does a variety of loans from luxury to first-time home buyers and renovations. What sets her and her team apart is their efficiency, speed and consistency. “We pride ourselves on closing transactions on-time or beforehand and not dragging out the process,” Devyn explains. They are also sticklers about communication and availability. Right when Devyn felt she was getting increasingly busy, she hired team members to help her answer phones and better serve her clients. “I want clients to receive individualized attention, to never feel that they’re rushed or set aside. Our availability is extremely important.” Someone is always there to answer phone calls or emails, and they always make time to answer questions. It is all about making the clients feel comfortable and at ease. When they leave the transaction, they look back and remember that Devyn and her team made the process as smooth as possible. “We really make sure that we make it as easy as possible for them.
