Hemodialysis (HD) Unit/ Lohja Hospital
– Since 2007
– 30 patients , treatments 3 times a
week eachweek each
– Patients with end state of renal
disease
– 10 registered nurses (RN), head
nurse, secretary, nephrologist
Developing project
• Aim:
– To develop e-health in hemodialysis patient education by using multimedia during the treatment session
– Produce guiding material of how patients should – Produce guiding material of how patients should take care of their arteria-venous fistula (AVF)
• The developement work is a part of Pro Stars project which developes e-health services in patient care (2012-2013)
• A part of future international Five Stars project (2013-2016)
