Knee and Spine problems are now very common across the country and about one crore new cases are reported every year.

Currently more than 10 crore people suffer from these two ailments as our lifestyles are bad, we are not doing exercises, prolonged use of back muscles, wrong postures and so on. Increased number of aged population is also one of the reasons. Though the patients do not want a surgery – the orthopedic surgeons and Neuro Surgeons a r e r e c o m m e n d i n g k n e e replacement and spine surgery left and right. As there is no options – many of the patients give up to the pressure and get operated. But if the lifestyle is not rectified – the problems come back. Plus there are complications of surgery. Full recovery still does not take p l a c e . M o s t o f t h e Physiotherapists, on the other hand,

26. Alkaline water :The alkaline water detox is intended to help your body gradually rid itself of toxins. Alkaline water has a higher pH level than regular drinking water. Because of this, some advocates of alkaline water believe it can neutralize the acid in your body. Free radicals from pollution, smoking and other toxic sources are neutralized by antioxidants and this water is a good source to obtain these antioxidants. Alkaline water helps to flush these toxins out of your body, which facilitates cleansing of the entire system. Drinking alkaline water is one way to do this. The alkaline minerals present in the water neutralise the acidic waste to flush them out of your body more effectively. Alkaline mineral water has been s h o w n t o s u p p o r t h e a l t h y antioxidant levels in the liver and provides the hydration your body's systems need for detoxification. Alkaline water hydrates better than plain water, and hydration is exactly what the body needs if it is to flush toxins. Drinking alkaline water can raise the pH of your urine when you drink alkaline water. This may help reduce the acidic waste load on your kidneys.27. Colon cleansing :Colon cleansers are marketed as powders to which water is added before use. The ingredients vary from one product to another, but

the basic ingredients include fiber (e.g. psyllium, flaxseed, bentonite) and laxatives such as cascara and m a g n e s i u m o x i d e . O t h e r ingredients include vitamins, minerals, amino acids, herbs, and probiotics, all of which are variously claimed to promote detoxification, boost the immune system, promote weight loss and r e s t o r e h e l p f u l b a c t e r i a . Magnesium oxide is claimed to release nascent oxygen. The laxative ingredients may be included in the powder or as a separate herbal tea. Users are generally instructed to drink 6-10 glasses of water daily. The recommended duration of use varies from a few days to several months . Some people have reported expelling large amounts of what they claim to be feces that have accumulated on the intestinal wall. However, experts believe these are simply "casts" formed by the f ibe r con ta ined in the "cleansing" products. In the absence of constipation, concern about regularity should be met with reassurance. If hard stools are a problem and no underlying pathology is suspected, increasing dietary fiber or using a stool softener should help. “Cleansing” products offer no additional benefit, and some can cause unnecessary bloating, cramps and diarrhea.

ECP, popularly ca l led Natura l Bypass , opens n e w a r t e r i e s

which were lying dormant inside the heart muscles. This increases the supply of blood to the heart muscles and relieves angina. The mechanism is very simple – the blood present in the muscles of the lower limb is pushed to the whole body, including heart, during diastole. This is done after every pumping action of the heart – ie. approximately 72 times in a minute. Ultimately during the 40 days of one hour treatment more than 1,60,000 times extra blood reaches all organs of the body including heart. The beauty of the treatment is that it is non invasive, easy to deliver, relatively inexpensive and without any complications or side effects. It was so effective that US FDA approval was given and it has become a scientifically proven method after more than 200 research studies. Unfortunately the cardiologists found it in competition with their Bypass Surgery or Angioplasty. They somehow have been able to make sure that it has to be used only for “No Hope Patients”. This means

though it can treat heart disease in any stage – they want to use it only for the most severe cases. The easy cases they want Bypass Surgery and Angioplasty. When I looked into research papers it was found that ECP can b e h e l p f u l i n m a n y m o r e conditions and diseases. In this issue we have a live case where leg amputation could be avoided by ECP. These are 16 conditions which can be helped by ECP.1.Alzheimer's disease2.Primary hypertension3.Peripheral vascular disease4.Cerebro vascular Ischaemia / stroke5.Parkinson's disease6.Retinopathy7.Renal disease8.Diabetes mellitus9.Cerebral palsy10.Impotency(Erectile Dysfunction)11.Hearing disorder and tinnitus12.Chronic wounds13.Peripheral neuropathy14.Arthritis15.Restless Leg syndrome'16.Lack of fitness in sports .

It helps reduce pain in your knees and joints. Lemon juice is a natural antiseptic, so it helps control harmful bacteria. Fresh squeezed lemon juice has a very powerful detoxifying effect that can purge toxins from the blood and help assist in removing harmful compounds from your body. Lemon water in the morning helps kick start the cleansing and digestion process for the day.23. Ginger :Ginger is a natural detoxifier and flushes out toxins. Ginger is one of the most popular food spices which is used in many types of problems. It is like a type of medicine. This is considered one of the most potent disease-fighting spices, along with turmeric. It helps the metabolism, flushes out toxins and boosts liver function. You can chew a small piece of ginger or even include it in your cooked food every day .Studies shows that ginger extract removes harmful toxins from body and make our body toxins free. Ginger is used in many popular cleansing programs, as it is thought to cleanse the body by stimulating digestion, circulation, and sweating.24. Parsley (Dhaniya Patta) :Extract of parsley has a protective effect against toxicity caused by cadmium. Parsley is loaded with

chlorophyll, which gives its charac ter i s t ic green color. Chlorophyll is a known chelating agent found to remove toxic meta l s f rom the body and stimulate biological activity that eliminates waste build-up. We are exposed to many heavy metals in the environment around us and the foods we eat. Cadmium interferes with hormone function and reduces the abi l i ty of immune-stimulating nutrients like zinc and magnesium. It also disturbs vital organs and the function of the brain, liver, kidney, and testes. Parsley has been shown to inhibit these toxic effects of cadmium by supporting overall detoxification systems.25. Curd/Yogurt :It's a good idea to have a cup of curd every day after a meal. Curd is an antioxidant and cleanses the body, and in the process, boosts metabolism. It also contains calcium and vi tamins. The bacteria in curd protect against acute lead toxicity. Study showed that lactic acid bacteria's ability to bind to heavy metals and remove them from the system, especially associated with cadmium and lead. The results showed that lactic acid bacteria, s u c h a s L a c t o b a c i l l u s acidophilus, had a high tolerance to these toxic heavy metals.

Saaol Times, April, 2018 Saaol Times, May, 2019Saaol Times, May, 20198

My name is Firoz Khan and I run Saaol Center in Goa. I have been a very successful patient of Saaol. When I was asked for a Bypass Surgery/Angioplasty three years back –I flew to Bangalore and received full treatment of Saaol (Lifestyle plus both Natural Bypass and EDTA therapy). When I went for a second Angiography I f o u n d m y b l o c k s r e d u c e d substantially , I took up my mission to spread Saaol and opened our center in Goa. My brother, Karim Khan, aged 57 years had Diabetes for the past 25 years. He did not took enough care and developed a Diabetic foot. In December, 2018 he received some injury and developed a wound in his right heel. On the advice of local doctors we got that operated but the healing was not happening even after 45 days. The adjoining area became black. He had acute pain and even his sleep got disturbed because of pain. We went to the surgeons – altogether four of them – all

advised him a Amputation of the Right leg. Initially they said amputation above ankle but as the Gangrene spread they advised amputation above Knee. We all were worried and whole family was disturbed. He was on crutches and had to stop all work. There was no option. On the advice of our clinic doctor we decided to give our ECP/EDTA treatment a try, before we go for the amputation. So, in February,2019 we stared ECP and BCA. We also controlled his sugar. With 20 days he started improving. The black area started becoming normal. The wound started healing. We went to the doctors – they changed their opinion.

ndOn April 2 , 2019 when Dr. Chhajer visited our center in Goa he examined my brother and appreciated our decision. My brother is now driving a scooter to his work. Thanks to ECP and BCA treatment. Thanks to Saaol for giving severe diabetic patients a chance to live.

18. Essential electrolytes :Electrolytes are ionic solutions (salts), existing in nature in the form of minerals. Electrolytes are responsible for keeping the body properly hydrated. When we expend sweat and lose these vital minerals, we need to replenish, not only with water but with minerals. Essential electrolytes are sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride, magnesium, phosphate. If we combine intake of fluids with electrolytes, we will actually hydrate quicker, as water follows electrolytes. Most of the fruits and vegetables are rich in electrolytes like Apples, corn, beets, carrots and green beans. Dark leafy vegetables are also r ich in electrolytes.19. Wash your foods :Almost everyone should be eating more fruits and vegetables. You know that. But do you know why it's important to wash your foods before eating it? In our modern world, almost no food is 100% free of pesticides. Sometime, even organic produce may contain some pesticide residues. You should always wash your foods before eating to remove toxins.20. Increase fiber :Everyone knows that fiber are essential for our body and have to include in our diet. Fiber helps to

remove toxins from the body. F ibe r i nc reases t he bowe l movements. Fiber helps speed up the elimination of toxic waste through the colon. Cereal grains, vegetables, and fruits are good sources of fiber. Oat cereals, Brussels sprouts, oranges, and beans, such as kidney, black, and pinto, are all good sources of fiber.21. Wheatgrass :Wheatgrass is rich in nutrients content boosts immunity, kills harmful bacteria in the digestive system, and rids the body of toxic wastes. Wheatgrass helps to remove toxic heavy metals (lead, mercury, aluminium) that have become stored in the tissues. Wheatgrass juice helps to increase the enzyme levels in our cells, aiding in rejuvenation of the body. Wheatgrass is one of the most direct and concentrated forms of the sun's energy. The nutrients in wheatgrass aid the body in getting rid of impurities and stored toxins. For example, the chlorophyll aids in detoxing the body and helps support healthy liver function.22. Lemon :Lemons naturally contain potent levels of citric acid that boosts your immune system. Lemon water helps your digestion, flushes out toxins and cleanses the liver.

All cleaning p r o d u c t s c o n t a i n h a r m f u l chemical, that are toxic to our health as well as kids health. 13. Avoid plastic and nonstick pans :Choose glass instead of plastic when storing food to avoid exposure to BPA and never heat plastic in the microwave, as this can cause BPA to seep into your food. Choose stainless steel or cast iron pans over nonstick.14. Meditation :Many religions and philosophies advocate fasting as a way of r e f o c u s i n g t h e m i n d a n d developing a sense of peace. While you're detoxifying your body, try to rid yourself of grudges, anger, sadness, and other negative feelings. Use the time you would usually spend eating or preparing food to think about your goals and

aspirations. 15. Take Vitamin C, Curcumins, other antioxidants dailyVitamin C is a versatile antioxidant and the most dollar-effective ant i toxin you can get . The curcumins, which give turmeric and curries their gold color, are also powerful antioxidants but you'll need to make sure you get a well-absorbed supplement.16. Antioxidants can be a vitamin, m i n e r a l o r p h y t o c h e m i c a l . Antioxidants neutralize damage to the body's cells and are naturally present in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans. These are a group of substances that protect cells from damage caused by free radical, by interacting with free radical, and stabilizing them. Free radicals are harmful chemicals produced as a by-product of

metabolism and as a result of exposure to toxins from the environment. These free radicals can attack the healthy tissues and cells of the body, impair immune s y s t e m f u n c t i o n a n d c a u s e premature signs of aging. They also produce a toxic effect on the body's DNA and may even cause cancer. Antioxidants scavenge these free radicals and destroy them.

What are Antioxidants?

Some externally generated sources of free radical are:

Production of free radicals in the human body

havoc. The free radical in an effort to achieve stability, attacks nearby molecules to obtain another electron and in doing so, damages those molecules.

If free radicals are not inactivated their chemical reactivity can d a m a g e a l l c e l l u l a r macromolecu les inc lud ing proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and nucleic acids.

Free radicals and other reactive oxygen species are derived either from normal essential metabolic processes in the human body or from external sources such as exposure to X-Rays, ozone, cigarette smoking, air pollutants and industrial chemicals. As your body burns the carbohydrates, free radicals are produced as a by - product. Your body also gets additional free radicals from breathing polluted air, smog, vehicle exhaust and tobacco smoke, drinking alcohol and eating fatty foods. Even personal stress can produce free radicals, with electrons unhinged, free radicals roam the body, wreaking
