Children who perceived that they are repeatedly isolated, abandoned and uncared for by their parents generally develop numerous psychological difficulties and problematic behavior such as attachment disorder. They feel insecure and alone. Apparently they may become protective, hostile, self-centered, suspicious, and will learn to take care of themselves in view that they can’t depend on others. Their lack the trust and self-worth may develop a fear of developing an intimate and meaningful relationship with others. As a result they become anti-social and find difficulty in connecting and bonding with people. They are generally unhappy and are prone to drug and substance abuse.
