Design & Technology Textiles Key Stage 3 & 4 Key Stage 3 Each year KS3 students study 6 weeks of Textiles Students select from and use specialist tools, techniques, processes, equipment and machinery safely and precisely, including computer-aided manufacture Year 7 Design and make a hand puppet Year 8 Using 2D design a logo and make a hat Year 9 Design and make a pencil folder Key Stage 4 AQA GCSE Textiles Technology Students use a variety of equipment, processes and techniques whilst undertaking a number of short textile projects before choosing their final product in Year 11 Year 10 Students are involved in a number of short making projects which develop their knowledge of materials, processes and techniques and they use a variety of equipment Year 11 Design and make a final product for their GCSE as chosen by the student
