Garden Design Course Co-ordinator Claire McQuade
One year course leading to FETAC award in Applied Horticulture. Students
study Garden Design and Landscaping, Health & Safety, Plant Science, along
with other academic and practical subjects.
Students have worked on a variety of projects within the College grounds.
CAD Comptuer Aided Design
FETAC LEVEL 5 & CITY AND GUILDS
CAD Computer Aided Design Course Co-ordinator Sean Owens
One year course leading to both FETAC Level 5 & City and Guilds
qualifications. Students use the latest CAD software and study areas
such as Building Construction and Architectural Drawing.
Fashion Design
FETAC LEVEL 5
Fashion Design Course Co-ordinator June Verdon
One year course covering Drawing, Design, Pattern Making,
Garment Construction and Embroidery. Students who complete
course may advance to HND Fashion Design course.
Furniture Design
FETAC LEVEL 5
Furniture Design Course Co-ordinator James McLoughlin
1 Year Course. All students have access to design studio and a
well-equipped woodwork room. The course takes students from basic
wood working level to the design and construction of a furniture piece.
Work is exhibited in the End of Year Exhibition.

Making & Resoration

Furniture Design Course Co-ordinator James McLoughlin
1 Year Course. All students have access to design studio and a well-
equipped woodwork room. Students in have the opportunity to learn
the skills of furniture making and restoration, through the use of
woodworking machinery and specialist wood finishes. Work is exhibited
in the End of Year Exhibition.

Graphic Design Course Co-ordinator Louise Fortune
2 year course which enables students to explore modern graphic design
procedures and develop problem-solving skills. Students who achieve this
award may advance to further study at Colleges and Universities in UK.
