Springs provide languages programs to 40 schools using face to face and distance learning modes:

• The most commonly taught World Languages in NT schools:

Indonesian JapaneseChinese Modern Greek

• 436 students study a language as part of Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training in 2015 (Years 11 – 12)

• 263 of these are enrolled in an Asian languages

• 8 Schools offer Bilingual Programs (Indigenous language/s & English)

• Most remote schools provide Language & Culture Programs using language maintenance and/or revitalisation pathways
