low award application form, project record form, 4-H story, pictures,
member in good standing form; and all other projects should be put
behind the main project in the back of the book. Additional projects
need a project record form only.
Fall Festival Report The 83nd Annual Dent County Fall Festival was a great success for
all 4-H Dent County members and families. One hundred sixty-five
4-H and twenty-two Clover Kid exhibits were entered in the 4-H Ex-
hibit Booth in the Youth Building. All were excellent displays of eve-
ryone’s good work in their projects.
A combined 238 entries of steers, hogs, lambs, bucket calves, com-
mercial heifers, chickens and rabbits were up considerably from last
year’s livestock exhibits. And — another record for the market live-
stock auction was set again this year! A special ‘congratulations’ to
all the livestock Award winners and Best of Show exhibitors.
Thank you parents for supporting your 4-H’er during the Fall Festi-
val. Everyone did a great job and enjoyed another wonderful year.

Clover Kids Corner Graham Cracker Creation
Supplies Needed
Graham crackers Creamy peanut butter (cake frosting for those with peanut allergies) Assorted foods for decorations: marshmallows, pretzel sticks, animal crackers, cereal, candy Plastic Knives Disposable Plates
What to do:
Show and tell your Clover Kids that you have brought some materials that they can use to create a snack. Brainstorm about some of the things they could build with the ingredients - a house, truck, animal, book, etc. Ask what they could use to hold the parts of their creation together. Let them use their imagination to create their snack. Invite them to talk about their creation before they enjoy it. Consider serving ice cold milk as the beverage.
