The present study analyzes the characteristics and the ther-apeutic progress of people who applied for therapy at theTherapy Department of the O.P.C., during a five yearperiod (1995–1999). It is a retrospective research with asample of one thousand patients and refers to adults (over18 years old) who come for a first interview with a per-sonal reason.

The demographic as well as the psychiatric characteristicsare presented. The kind of the therapeutic intervention,the duration of each therapeutic scheme and the outcomeof the therapeutic procedure, are also described, as well asthe state of the patient at the termination of therapy.
