In AquaDAF, a special false floor is construc ted (Plastic/wo ode n panels) w ith a special hole pattern. It introd uces flow resistance an d promotes unif orm flow dis tr ibuti on.

As loading rate o n a co nvent ional system increases t here is a tende ncy f or short-circuit ing a nd bubb le bla nket ex pansi on. This can lead to s olids c arry over.

Headloss across the floor creates a circular flow pa ttern. T he hi ghly concen trated b ub ble bla nket i s maintained i n th e floa t area at rates of 20 m3/m2//hr and higher.
