Why the color(s)?

• I thought that by using only black and nothing more made the logo much more professional. Adding the white box made it seem to be as if the W was thinking outside of the box. Also it seemed as if using many colors on the logo made the logo seem childish and unprofessional.

Why the shape(s)?

• I used a W because that’s the first letter of my name and it means the most to me.

• I used a white box to indicate that the W was outside of the box. (thinking outside of the box)

Why the quote?

• This quote addresses a very serious issue around the world. Ignorance has become our greatest enemy when trying to get along with other nations, cultures and religions.

Page 7: Defending My Design

Why the picture?

• Many times I have heard that the sun represents life and peace. Also this picture is a very well taken picture with the sunset and the ocean.

Page 8: Defending My Design

Why the font?

• The font is a cursive type of font, however it is also a very professional type of font for a very serious topic.

Why the font color?

• Black and white in my opinion are the most professional and sophisticated colors. If the quote was funny then I would have used more colorful fonts however the quote is not funny at all.
